The infamous Mariposa, if I remember correctly. :)

No, go to the boneyard, and upgrade your plasma rifle to the fast-firing variant! For more Dakka!

EDIT3: BWHAHAHAHA! I. AM. GOD! TREMBLE IN MY PRESENCE, PUNY MORTALS!

...

Anyways the turn is finished, decided to storm the base next time. The way everything ended just seemed perfect. I didn't want to ruin it by continuing to play.

Viva la Revolution!

Spoiler: Snarker Holmes (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: I AM GOD! (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Guns. We'll Need Guns. (click to show/hide)

Update seems a bit short to me. Sorry about that.

I feel that Rob can no longer be bothered by anything. He has hardened power armour and a turbo plasma rifle. He isn't fazed when clearing out a Deathclaw nest, and he certainly isn't going to worry about tackling the supermutant base either.

If I don't finish the game in the next update, then the update after that will mark the end of the game. Count on it.

Some of the image are down. Nice update otherwise, never got around to clean Adytum myself.

Here's the latest news from the turn:

WHAT THE HELL. WHAT THE FUCKING HELL. I JUST SHOT HIM IN THE GROIN. THAT'S IT. WHY THE HELL DID HIS HEAD EXPLODE? AND HIS ARMS? AND HIS LEGS? AND HIS INTERNAL ORGANS?

Ahem.

I'd never thought that a game with graphics like Fallout's could scar me for life.

EDIT: Besides shooting up the place, what are my options for going deeper into the Cathedral?

Fallout is very good about giving you options. You can chat or sneak your way through the Cathedral if you have great skill at those things (or items that help give you great skill, as well)

Took a break, and then came back to it. I am no longer stuck, and did not have to kill anybody. Success all around.

Gotta love certain death animations. I know what happened.

As for the cathedral, there's a certain item you can carry that'll make it a little more friendly to traverse. Actually, a couple of them.

Hardened power armour and a turbo plasma rifle? I'm only asking because I am literally staring down you-know-who right now.

EDIT: It's like they sweetly and reasonably kick you in the nuts at the end. I'm at a lost for words of how to describe it completely. Bittersweet?

EDIT2: Hmm... The epilogue in the Fallout 2 manual doesn't really seem like something Rob would say or do. I might will have to make my own.

I was going to say there's a mind shield device (to prevent mind rape on the way to The Master) and you can also dress up in one of those gowns the purple dudes wear in order to bypass security into the cathedral. Swap out to power armor when you could, and nuke them from inside.

But being introduced directly to The Master also works, but the mind shield makes the exit easier.
