This looks interesting. Sadly, I have not played Fallout so I can't give any suggestions.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Shady Sands: Scenic Entrance to Vault 15

Spoiler: Vault 15 (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Shady Sands (click to show/hide)

Note: Not all conversations in this LP will be exactly the same as in the game. Creative freedom and all that. Though if you want me to, I could post more screenshots of the conversations. I'd also like to point out that Adeesh, Kitanna etc. are not spelling mistakes, but are included because I wanted them.

Also, Tandi is 16 when she met Devlin. Yeah...

How is the LP so far? I could probably do more per post, I think. Plot/conversations take of a lot of space.

EDIT: Which perks should I take? More melee damage? Take less damage? Increased EXP? Perhaps something else?

Let's see. Bonus HtH is good for a melee fighter though better perks show up at later levels so I don't think it's worth stacking. Quick Pockets is not bad either (sometimes you gotta get a stimpack ASAP). Swift Learner, also ok. You can go with any of those. Most of the melee perks open up later, starting at level 6 with Bonus HtH Attacks (extremely good perk there). Toughness is, I think, better when you stack it and go full brick shithouse with your character.

Right. I think I'll go for swift learner then, so that I can reach level 6 quicker.

Back to the Vaults

Spoiler: Get back in the Vault (click to show/hide)

I'm going to head back to Shady Sands to kill some radscorpions and get some tasty, tasty EXP. After that I'll probably head down to Junktown and the Hub.

Also, Vault 15 must have been made out of EZ-Rust patented metal if Katrina lived in it. You just can't seem to get that colour naturally without generations of oxidization.

I hate to give part of an update away before it's actually out, but guess which conversation choice I wanted to pick?

Also, the next update is going to be big. It'll easily have the same number of screenshots as the rest of the updates combined.

Junktown Wars

Spoiler: Trouble in paradise (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Killian and Friends (click to show/hide)

Bleh. I feel that the ending is not the greatest. I'm a bit under the weather right now, if that explains anything. I didn't have enough time yesterday to finish typing the update, so here it is now. Meh.

Any idea where I can get my hands on a better weapon? The knife is fine and all, but it's still a knife. I could probably use something better soon.

I find it amusing that for all your conversation choices with Killian, confronting him with Doc Morbid's cannibal supplying business is not one of them. You figure that one out.

Also, what ever happened to Junkyard wars? That was an awesome show, though they did start to run out of ideas near the end.

Bleh, I should stop rambling and get to work on the next update.

Wow. I think I just accidentally the everything.

Also, I really have to make more updates. The next one has double the number of screenshots as the rest combined (like the one before it). Bleh.

Do you ever use your gun?

I don't know what happened to Junkyard Wars. It had some pretty cool challenges and rigs made.

As for weapons, I dunno, it's been ages since I played this game, so I don't know. There is however, an extremely rare chance to come across a crashed UFO and get an alien blaster (+ammo) from it. You can also try shopping for weapons, see what works. I'm not sure if power fists or rippers exist in this game though. Maybe.

Perception = 2

I did find another weapon... But you'll have to read the update to find out (Hopefully it'll be out later today). However it hasn't been exactly helpful so far...

If I remember correctly, Perception doesn't really affect guns THAT much. A blind guy can easily kill people with, say, an assault rifle.

Also, Power Fists DO exist in here. Rippers, nay. BUUUT, I'm pretty sure he can get a cow prod or similar soon. That, and I'm sure he'll loot some nice equipment from the dead eventually.

It does. Unless guns and grenades in Fallout are designed to kill people a metre in front of you, in which case never mind.
