Red December

Spoiler: Brotherhood of Metal (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Dominus et Magister (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Master Under All (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: No Severance Package? (click to show/hide)

Did I just finish a LP? Hell yes I did. And it feels awesome.

Amusingly I ended up with more stimpaks at the end of this update then when I started it.

I'm half glad that the developers of Fallout couldn't get the song they wanted for the intro. 'Maybe' does some real subtle foreshadowing about the end there. I probably butchered that ending exchange, but that's more or less how I honestly felt when I saw it. Is it sad that I can't return? Yep. But you know what? The Overseer is an asshole for kicking you out like that. But honestly Rob could hardly care less at this point. He has a turbo plasma rifle, hardened power armour and is respected or feared by everyone in the wastes. He could probably carve out his own kingdom at this point in time. But, due to the plot considerations of Fallout 2, he can't. Oh well.

I still have an epilogue to make up, but if anybody wants to submit character ideas for Fallout 2, be my guest. From what I can gather, the main character of Fallout 2 is from some sort of dinky tribal village on the edge of civilization. Do with that what you choose. If you're wondering, yes, I will be heading straight to Fallout 2 after this.

EDIT: Hmm... The screenshot feature for Fallout 2 doesn't seem to work. I'll try to fiddle with it a bit more before switching to FRAPS though. Look up Fallout 2 on the Fallout wiki for a list of traits or whatever else you want for character creation.

Wooh! Great fun to follow! I enjoyed. Fallout 2 has a lot of fun stuff, I'm looking forward to it. ^_^

I say we go with either ULTIMATE LADIES-MAN, or, alternately, ULTIMATE MANS-LADY,

Traitwise, Good Natured and Sex Appeal.

YAY! Nice work. There's also a way to convince The Master to commit suicide as well, but the offensive option is still more fun.

EDIT:
When I beat it, I got the Master to commit suicide.

How? All the options I could pick eventually just led to him yelling about how I can't destroy him. I'm assuming that it involves something that I forgot to pick up along the way.

EDIT: Looks like I'll have to use FRAPS. Ah well.

Also: Bonus video of what happens after the master dies. Obviously I didn't record it, but it shows you all the lovely exploding goodness.

He'll commit suicide if you can prove to him that FEV mutants are sterile. I think this involves a BoS scribe and some research data you have to get for her, or from her, or something. But really, plasma bolts pew pew pew!

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

You've got to destroy the military base, then talk to Vree in the bos libary and ask about Mutants.

Ah. Good to know.

But seriously, and ideas for the new character? I'll be moving on to Fallout 2 soon.

I'd say an evil slavedriver type of character. That could be fun ^^

I made my suggestion.

Mind you, the two ideas could be combined. ;)

Horribly evil yet at the same time seductively charismatic? That could work. Yeah, alright. I'll do that if everyone likes it. Though I'll still need a gender, a name, and perhaps the age of the character.

Well done.

Without wanting to spoil anything: Fallout 2 offers a lot of scope to evil characters.  Not as much as 3, but a lot.  However, there is more good content than evil content overall, so you'll miss out on some otherwise-interesting stuff, especially if you...do certain obvious and irrevocable things...before you reach...the stuff.

Also: for maximum evil, make sure you have the American version of the game, and not the UK one.  In the UK version, children are invisible and immortal.

Seeing as children were enabled in Fallout 1, I can't wait.

Sounds good to me, but don't forget to get gifted.

Gender: Female
Age: 19
Name: Titthal Askak (Plays With Scorpions/The Fun Scorpion)

Bah, don't bother with gifted. Whats it good for? Min-maxing? Psssh, as if that's needed. No, go with the ones I suggested.
