The Honesties of Growling was a battle, waged between trolls loyal to the Emperor's crown and those loyal to the Sufferer.

The followers of the Sufferer had 559 members, and were attacking.

Those loyal to the Emperor had 365 to their number, and were defending.

Of the 559 followers, there were over 30 important historical figures.

The followers were led by Allandr Stickmonk, who died during the fight.

Of the 365 loyal trolls, there was only one important historical figure, the one who led the attack: the emperor himself, Drangi Martyredworker the Malign Thorn-club of Hexes.

Of the followers, 243 died.

Of the loyal, all but one died.

The one was, of course, Drangi.

Of the 243 killed in the fight, 237 were killed by Drangi.

The defenders won the fight, despite only having one survivor, mainly because the one survivor happened to have killed more than a third of the Sufferer's army.

I think there is nothing interesting there. It is rather common to have individuals, even in mundane races, to be ridiculously powerful combtatants.
