we should make rolphin our main trade good for now, have rex train a couple more fishermen. make a trade agreement with the traders, ask them what they need from us and request them some brewing and cheese making equipment

We should have both brick makers make glazed trinkets for the traders! Two fishermen are enough for now, but we need to start thinking about farming. Also, see if we can persuade the traders into sending a professional soldier to train our men in combat and formations.

Short-term plans:

1. 2 days of food in stock - to be self-sustainable
2. Expand watchtower into a wooden house - We do not need a dedicated barracks yet
3. Finish earthworks wall - even they climb up, the wall itself would be a chokepoint.
4. At least 30+ weapons, 5+ edged

Medium-term plans:

1. Pottery industry seems to be the best course of action
2. Enough bricks for outer vertical layer of wall - we don't need that inside yet
3. Ballistic weapon system to throw rocks or fire
4. Supply of pitch/oil for fire projectiles
5. Metal

Long-term plans

Brick houses for everyone
Ballista on top of tower

Sounds good, except brick houses should be a higher priority and we should keep the watchtower as it is.

The plan is to use the watch building as a barracks/armory once the brick houses/homes are ready.
we are technically still a commune, so everyone under the same roof is good.

We should examine the blue liquid. Also get someone to meet the traders.

Well, I would guess that the blue stuff is what the slimes were made from.

Oh great, so now everyone wants brick walls?

Urgh. You guys... ::)
Yes, because now we have more time to actually make bricks rather than make a tiny stack of bricks in one area for no reason.

We should have a peasant taste the Blue Liquid.

Can I suggest inspecting the Remains of the Stickcreature that wasn't burned in flames like the last two...
OH OH OH OH...
Exotic Trade Good.
The Remains of a Night Monster...

Though convincing the Traders that it was once alive MAY be a problem...

We could ask them about these creatures.
What they are, where they come from.. that sort of things.
And if they don't know, at least we know that we might be the first to encounter such fiends.
