More like Lincoln doesn't want us to. In case he changes his mind, the other male should be called Gordon.

Are we arguing about if we should make a brick wall based on how much time it took to make the bricks, or how many bricks we had? Because those are two different arguments.
We were arguing the validity of making a brick wall at that point in time. We had some dry lime and a small stack of bricks which would have done not shit for us.

Anyway...

I still think we should investigate the possibility of brewing berries into alcohol. Alcohol burns and can be imbibed for fun makings.

Dry lime that could've had water added to it easily.

Would it not have saved time? Like a small section of wall where there is a planned wall in Dwarf Fortress? Like a section of road for a planned road in Sim City?

Oh, and also in those two examples, it does do shit for us. Very, very little shit, yes, but shit nonetheless.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

In regards to the village wall, I would like to propose the following design
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Instead of having just a brickwall, make a slope of dirt behind it, so that defenders can stand atop it and reach beyond the wall.

Start with a temporary dirt wall as an immediate goal, then add a brick wall later, and expand the dirt wall into a slope.

FYI, you don't need mortar for mudbricks. You just set them up and plaster them over with more mud/clay. It's pretty durable in regions without too much rainfall and requires only occasional maintenance.

I consider it high treason to allow this to fall off of the first page.

Village:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
The villagers gather to eat their breakfast. And Aretes figurine which depicts Hans slaying a stickman has finished firing.

Traders have arrived!
The two traders say they are representatives of the West Bogshire Trading Company and have come to trade. They also propose a trade agreement. The conditions of the agreement are simple, in return for refusing to do buisness with the South Stonemeadow Mercantile Guild the village will recieve a 33% discount on all purchases over the value of 15 yollars. If you need time to make this decision then a runner can be sent in the afternoon for the verdict. They also give the village a flag making kit as a token of goodwill, it contains all the materials needed to make one flag.

When told about the horrors of the night they laugh it off and tell you to stop joking around. Everyone knows that the monsters are just things mothers tell their children to keep them out of the woods at night. When shown the stickman corpse they ask you why you went through the trouble to make a stickdoll only to throw rocks at it?

They also have orange seeds in stock, each bag contains 50 seeds. (To bad no one knows what they grow into)

OK, how much of each item are the traders carrying?
Also we should try to capture a slime or a stick demon somehow.

Infinite for now. I might put numbers on in further updates though. It's just hard to tell how much of what you guys are going to buy (if any).

Sell 7 spears, 10 Cooked Rolphin, and a Jar of Blue Stuff. Then buy a bag of seeds, and a rope (For putting up, and pulling down our flag we create.)

Sell 10 cooked rolphin, sell them both the trinkets, sell them the stickman corpse, buy 2 cloth and show the traders the slime jacket.
EDIT: Also sell 30 orange slime glaze.  It's easy to get, and we have a ton of it.

In that case we should also get 2 more oil and sell them all of the non-firehardened spears

In the meantime, make figurines to sell, and put the Hans figurine in the watchtower as a trophy.
