Fire the bricks in the kiln, and continue with the rest of the planned jobs focusing on shopping trees down, and turning them into planks for the building of several homes.

Fire the bricks and start milling the lumber. If we use tongue and groove construction, we won't need nails to make sturdy buildings.

For the buildings we can use a mixture of mud, and clay to make the building s slightly more insulated, and water-proof.

Train a peasant in the art of stabbing things with a spear.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

I agree about firing our bricks but we should also look into making some pottery.
Also get two people to pick up some fire-hardened spears and explore to the west.
Also I think we should have gotten some oil and cloth, but oh well.

Am I the only one who noted that, unless the Body of water South to us is really a Lake, we have no source of Freshwater? We can't drink Saltwater, if the water to the south is an ocean.

He mentioned we settled on a lake for purposes of Not Dying of Thirst.

Actually I think we should make some simple cage traps out of branches. The slimes seemed slow and easy to lead around. We could probably toss some bits of mostly-eaten fish (bones and whatnot) inside and capture some slimes for !Science!. And the fact that slimes have a thick outer membrane means they can't just ooze out of the cage (green ones at least) if we make the mesh tight enough.

One problem with the bricks no one has noticed so far:

We HAVE NO MORTAR.

Picky goes looking for limestone.

From what I know from Wikipedia, Limestone can be turned into lime. Which then can be turned into Lime Mortar.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

I second this. If these monsters (and outsiders, for that matter) are going to be a regular occurrence, we are going to need start with a professional Sheriff.

I have a suggestion, that we somehow gain more knowledge on these berries.
If we do things right, we might start a berry farm!
Who knows, maybe these berries could in the long run earn us some profit?

But the berries grow on trees... I wonder how long it would take to grow them?

It would be dandy if we could just build a boat or wagon, then go around uprooting and then planting them in our settlement.

... I, for one, feel stupid. Why have we not constructed a boat?
