One quick aside, I do believe female foals are called fillies, or phillies, or some such.

foals are baby ponies, fillies are young females and colts are young males iirc
adult females are mares and males are stallions

Filly is a female baby horse, but in the show can describe a female adult.  Filly, Colt, Mare, Stallion, but being a kid's show (and ponies) it's generally just Fillies and Colts unless a lam pun demands different words.

Yep. And that's not bringing up the different types of horses that they don't bring up in the show, or other ages of horses.

Also: I'm surprised Necro hasn't had dissenters bridled and shod yet.
Shoe-ing a horse basically involves driving nails through the holes in the horse-shoe and into the hoof (not quite as painful as it sounds), and bridles are just plain uncomfortable.

Nice. Unfortunately, shodding (shoeing? Shoing?) is not implemented yet, and neither is punishment other than conviction and execution. I would do so if it was possible, but discounts on checkered shirts will do 

Little update: I'm having Necro bake lots of cupcakes out of the immigrants' pet animals, and he went from zero to adequate cooking in less than a week

you can set [ethic;make-trophy-same-race] to acceptable, but nothing about eating like there is with other [intelligent] creatures

It means that your own dwarves (ponies) will be butchered instead of buried, and will cause ghosts.  Crafts, leather, and meat will be produced.  However, this is an entity change, and will require a new world to take effect.

I was told, once, it was possible to mod the save file directly if you knew where to look in all the pages of it, or something.
Not sure I believe it though.

Also: Cannabilism is possible. I personally set my dwarf's tags to be able to eat sentients, but not dwarfs.
