Dunno, cupcakes are a bit out of place here.  How often would you get to say it?  It's certainly viable for certain situations.  "Mayor mandated slade coins?  CUPCAKES!" but other times you just need some raw heat.  "Elves riding giant eagles?  MAGMAAAA!"

Thanks to Girlinhat's link, I found out why cupcakes are of interest... I think Necro could fit Pinkie Pie's place here.

So... Give Necro socks and make him bake cupcakes! Magma is perfect for cooking, as we all know.

1. One acquire ingredients.

2. Boil them at 12000 Urist PONEH for about thirty minutes, to clean.

3. Finely mince the meat into bite sized pieces.

4. Crumb them and place into batter.

5. Stir batter for five minutes.

6. Place batter into molds.

7. Bake in magma oven for twenty minutes.

8. Take out tray, and let sit.

9. CUPCAKES? Indeed.

Two child snatchers in a one month period, with both being dispatched with haste by the military. The mutated freaks do not last a chance. Necro greeted the Cave Ponies and their caravan's guards as brothers, and gave them gifts in addition to their normal payment. The caravan had little in terms of steel, but had many fine bismuth bronze picks. They also had plenty of exotic wood, which we promptly purchased. The traders left happy, and with a skip in their step. Bolt was off expanding the outdoor area, Ironsides was making military equipment, Flon was brewing and farming, Ivor was giving psychological exams to the party-less ponies (See: Cupcaker Duty), Dusty and Ol' Joey were still mining, and Necro was hauling off the lunatic marksman's corpse to the volcano.

"And to you, good sir. AND BE OFF!"

Ivor came galloping up the steep slope with difficulty, "Sir! Sir! A glassmaker has gone into a strange mood!"

"We have no sand."

"I know! What are we to do? He shall surely go mad!"

Ivor left to go tell Dusty and Ol' Joey the deed they must do, but not before releasing the contents of his stomach all over a fern.

EDIT: Just finished reading "Cupcakes". When you read one of the most famous torture stories around, and the first thing you think is "Wow, she has no skill", you need to see a psychiatrist. NOW.

You know what's fun in this Magma vs. Cupcakes fight?

Both are hot.

And...
Both can seem sadistic when shouted at people. (CUPCAKES? = Shall we make cupcakes out of them?)

My only problem with cupcakes is the fact that dark purple is barely visible on the dark grey DF background.
My only problem with magma (the shout!) is the fact that many people use it now...cheese

True, true. I'm actually still afraid to read cupcakes, simply due to a mild case of severe immaturity.

I didn't bother reading it, but a friend did and she described it as "rather expected horror".  It's sort of, 'You know that someone's going to be cut up and baked.  And that's what happens."  Compared to everything DF, cupcakes isn't so bad.  This was my friend who never played DF and just went off my retellings, who said 'this doesn't compare to the most conservative of forts'.
