Prancer McPony has created Sparkleleaf, an iron horseshoe!  All cradftsponyship is of the highest quality.  On the item is an image of DerpyHooves in microcline.  DerpyHooves is derping.  On the item is an image of a cupcake in iron.  On the item is an image of Sparkleleaf, the iron horseshoe, in bronze.

Isn't there a guy named Tom that's made of minerals or something?

Technically we're all made of minerals, but I suppose my skin is a bit hard and brittle...

Time had passed, and the fortress was blooming. The military was fully trained, the furnaces were fully operational, and the traders were bringing in fresh resources. In fact, digging down to the depths had begun. The first cavern was breached, and it was a beautiful site. The trees were blossoming, the grass was bright, the webs were luminescent, and the animals were grazing. Necro was informed of this glorious news, and stated what must be done.

Dusty came in with the child strapped to her side, jumping up and down, "Sir! We've unearthed a large underground forest! There are webs we could use to make fresh clothing, food to last us years, and enough gold to make us the capitol of the world! What shall we harvest first?!"

Necro glanced at them and immediately replied, "Magma."

"Wait... what?"

"Burn it. Burn it all to slag."

"But sir-"

"WOULD YOU LIKE TO KEEP YOUR THROAT OR NOT?"

"You had better be. Now be off, we have much to do."

The militia and lever operators were busy as well, as three ambushes arrived at the same time. Half the country side was burnt to ash, but who cares? The smell of scorched flesh went on for miles, along with the bastards' trails of innards. All in a days work at Machineblood.

i'm more of a military guy myself

I like to consider myself a trapmaster in most things I do, but I've yet to exploit harness magma for my purposes.

I've yet to find magma convenient enough to make it worth building pump stacks to the outside for defensive purposes early on. Usually I just bunker down behind walls. Lots of walls.
