You ask the elf if you could help, he says to go investigate the glowy thing inside one of his plots. Upon investigation, it appears to be a glimpse into the Plane of Everflame, the source of fiery magics. Also a very deadly plane without protection and/or being naturally flame-proof. You have neither, though opening this rift fully would completely wreck the elf's livelyhood at the expense of basically the entire plane, unless theres a overparanoid farmer somewhere with a flameproof/magic resistant dome.

Tell him you know how to fix it. It needs to be cracked open. If he does, run like hell.

You tell him if he opened the rift, it would maybe solve everything. He agrees surprisingly, so you invoke the RNG while you flee the fuck away, (14) this time falling on the Random Number God good side with a Haste-ing. Now sped up, you do indeed find a crazy lunatic/overly prepared potato farmer. He is a Dwarf, and you dash inside his dome and lock, bolt, seal, do everything to the door to keep it shut and fully wrap the place in flame-proofing and hopefully a strong MR rating as the massive crackling noise announces the expansion on the Plane of Everflame into another plane. Then the fire whooshes by as the lethal lava landmass finalizes the claim of Everflame upon the Potato Farmlands.

The dwarf demands to know what in the name of armok has happened,while he checks the dome's warranty for lava-proofing.

You tell the dwarf so. You being the tallest, are punched in the chest repeatedly. While it doesn't totally kill you, it really damn hurts to get punched that much by a dwarf. You feel an urge to kick him, and it takes most of your energy to resist it. You see no rifts within sight of the door, though there might be some elsewhere in the dome.

The dome is still intact.

Using our punting prowess, we retaliate against the dwarf by punting his face into the ground.

You eventually get over it, and investigate. There is a recursive rift to the recursive Plane of Recursion inside one of the potatoes that seems to be inside-out, and a rift to the Plane of Plain Plains. The Plane of Plain Plains is very, well, plain.

The dome shifts hues as the strain on the magic resistance continues unabated, according to the dwarf it was not built for continous resistance past a few minutes or so. He is packing all possible seeds, potatoes, and other equipment he can, which is making you nervous as to what, if anything, is on the Plain Plains.

The magic resistance disintegrating, the dome will not stay intact against the naturally magic imbued lava for much longer.

Jump into the Plain Plains. Bring the potato leading into the Plan of Recursion with you.

You may be able to reinforce the dome if you're agreeable to the RNG, though. Otherwise, the rifts going from the plain plains or recursion back here will shift to a randomly decided spot in the Plane of Everflame to make up for the eradication of the plane they were linked to before.

Reinforce the dome to be completely magma-proof. If this fails, do what micelus said.
