You move towards it and Bulk raises a finger to stop you. With a smile and a red glow of his eyes, he turns to the bed and fires a wave of Chaos at it; it washes over the bed, and you both involuntarily shudder, as your link to Chaos makes you keenly aware of the death of more bed bugs than you care to count which have been slain by Bulk's Chaos Cleaning, an ability which allows him to use Chaos to scour surfaces or objects of undesirable things like the late bedbugs or the beings biomancers call "Bacteria."
"No need for thanks," Bulk adds smugly.

You awaken as the light of dawn enters the window - no, wait, that's the light of... ehh, a little before noon. Bulk Vanderhuge is nowhere to be seen, but he left you a note.
Investigating potential ships. Will back at noon.
True to his word, you hear a key enter the door and Bulk walks in. He pulls two pieces of bread from his pack and tosses you one. You gingerly begin nibbling at it. Bulk, for his part, seems resigned to having to babysit you in the aspects of life in which you have no practical experience on account of your Princeliness.
"I threw out the options that were leaving too far from now or tried to overcharge. A merchant and a smuggler each made fairly solid offers; the merchant wants more, but he has a more comfortable ship, and these waters are fairly well-patrolled. The Vikings protect his ship since he's one of their best, and under British Empire waters he's legitimate so he'll be guarded by the Imperial Navy. The smuggler is fast - as opposed to the merchant's relaxed 3-day journey, he plans to arrive there tomorrow morning. The merchant is going to be arriving in Denmark's northern regions - the heart of Viking territory. The smuggler is running an Aesir blockade of a Jotunn settlement just past the Heligoland Bight."
