Both would be nice, but I doubt we could use them both without the gods (or whoever is talking to us)  getting annoyed.

You can raise both Chaos and Order up to level 10. Once you have one at level 10, further levels begin taking space from the other side of the spectrum. Leveling the spectrum-side that the other one has been taking from goes up to (however many levels it has left on its side) then begins retaking its space.

Choosing balanced options (including using Chaos powers to promote Order, using Order powers to promote Chaos, or legitimately trying to strike a balance/compromise) will hold you at 10/10, and eventually begins unlocking Balance stuff.

It would be just like an Orderly person to keep track of whether their actions are Orderly or Chaotic. Let's do whatever the hell we feel like and not give a shit about our alignment (so long as we aren't being Evil).

Oh, there are things for if you choose your actions based on Good/Evil regardless of Order/Chaos, too.

That's part of why I said it's important to say why you're doing things.

You remember your childhood friend, Eamon O'Byrne, once again, from the first time you two went to a bar together.

"'S happy hour. 'F ye can walk out on yer own by the time we go home, I'mma beat ya till ye can' any more," Eamon O'Byrne explained to you as you walked in.
"I can't serve you, you're clearly underage," the bartender replied. "I mean, really. How old are you?"
"Ol' enough ta kill ye if ye ask too many questions," the 9-year-old Eamon O'Byrne had replied, cracking his knuckles.
"Okay, enough is enough. Leave so the actual patrons can-"

Eamon had, at this point, jumped atop a bar stool, vaulted over the bar and dropkicked the bartender, knocking him unconscious. Eamon had then stolen the bartender's money, smashed the neck of a bottle of whiskey on the bar, emptied the bottle into a large mug he'd been carrying, and took a long swig over the deadened silence of the bar.

"Drinks on th'ouse tonigh'!"

IRISH FURY UNLOCKED. Irish Fury allows you to fistfight with all the rage of a drunken Irishman and only half the loss of coordination!

You hop off your horse, grab the empty bottle, and smash it against the nearest highwayman's sword, swatting it out of his hand. You then stab the shattered bottle's end quite directly into the shocked highwayman's throat.

"WHO ELSE WANTS SOME IRISH FURY!?" you demand. The two surviving highwaymen look at each other and circle around you. "C̡̕͞ơ̵̧̕m̴͢é̶̢̀̕ ̀̕͡͠ģ͢e̶̶̵̕͝t́͢͠ ̴̷͘ş̷̡҉o̵m̸̨͟͏e̸̡!̷̛́͟" you yell, Chaos distorting your voice. Sounds that cannot be heard assail their ears, Disturbing them.

You proceed to disembowel both incoherent Highwaymen.

You've certainly worked up an appetite, and those Potatoes (+3 Irish) and Whiskey bottles (+6 Irish) are looking a bit tempting.

Both Chaos and Order are pleased with your actions; though you fought because it is Discordant, you slew individuals who acted against Order.
