There have been rule changes concerning the purchasing of animals. Purchasing an animal requires you to spend a day fighting it and winning, and so you cannot purchase more than one in a single day.

The tournament is over. Day 9 was the knockout round, leaving only four teams. Day 10 divided the four teams into winners bracket and losers bracket. Day 11 decided the places. The winners from this tourmanet were Dastot and Ibid. You were one of the winners, so I will assume that that is a title claim.

The day that claims are processed is the day before the next tournament, so it will occur on arena day 13. At that point, everybody who claimed will be entered in a free-for-all, with the last one alive being awarded the title.

New characters are always welcome, I'm trying to set up the rules of the game so new characters can catch up to the others quickly.

Metal equipment can be good, but you can't be too reliant on your equipment. For example, one of the arena lords will forbid the use of metal equipment in their battles.
