I apologize for not giving warning about this week beforehand, I was asked to help out at the last minute, and it's been absolutely hectic (I've had a fair few 20 hour days this past week). It's coming to an end, though.

Sorry about the long delay, but that's all sorted out now. We should be able to get to a pretty solid update schedule now, with about five per week for the next couple of months, unless something else unexpected comes up.

The wolf was on the defensive from the start, unable to find an opportunity to attack as the human charged at it. Many times it would narrowly evade his swings, until a lucky charge sent it sprawling to the floor. Once there, it was beated brutally, until a blow to the head killed it.

Spoiler: Jacque VS gorilla (click to show/hide)

The cavy charged towards the gorilla, and was knocked over. The mighty beast grasped it in its massive hands and tore it apart in seconds. Turning its attention to the dwarf, it closed its jaws on Jacque's foot and savaged it, sending her to the gloor. Now towering further over her, the gorilla savaged her. Many puches and kicks landed on it, but they could not penetrate the dense layers of muscle and Jacque soon died.

Initially, it was the gorilla who obtained the upper hand. The dwarf and the animal charged at each other, and it was the dwarf who was knocked over, the gorilla's teeth savaging his hand. However, a lucky blow to the head of the animal jammed the skull through the brain and killed the beast.

TOURNAMENT FIGHTS

The dog was the first to die. Quickly charged and knocked over, it was stabbed in the head by Sodel and killed.

Next it was the wolf. Set upon by both mace and sword, it was slashed deep and soon had its head bashed in.

Fekod was the next to die. A nastly slash from Flint severed his mace arm. From then on he could do little to defend himself as he was stabbed and slashed repeatedly, and bled to death.

The last to die was Sodel. Sodel was set upon from both sides. He managed to land a devestating blow on Laurenski, the short sword lodging in the upper body, tearing apart the spine, but this was followed up by an attack form behind from Flint, stabbing him in the head.

One of the harpies died with a single mighty blow from Dakosh's hammer to the head.

The helmet snake died next as as vicious slash from Tersr to the head tore apart the brain.

Next to die was Dakosh. Ibid's scimitar cut deep, savage blows opening arteries and eventually damaging the foot to the point of uselessness, sending the dwarf to the ground. Now with the towering advantage of height, Ibid stabbed and slashed again, severing many of the dwarf's limbs, until blood loss claimed him.

Last to die was Tersr. Beset from two sides by both Dastot and a harpy, Tersr parried many blows before landing one on Dastot, twisting the sword around in the lower body and wrenching out the guts. As this happened, Tersr was flanked by the remaining harpy, knocked over, and the torrent of blows from the dwarf and harpy caused him to give into pain and soon die.

Title: The victor
Requirement: must have achieved first place in a tournament

Claims must be submitted by the end of arena day 12, and if there are multiple claimants then a winner will be found on arena day 13. To submit a claim, post in bold that you are claiming and give a link to the turn post in which you won.

There will be a new tournament starting on day 14. For this tournament, you are not allowed to use your own equipment or pets. Instead, when entering, you must choose two item types. You will then recieve iron copies of these two items. You will not keep those items after the tournament is over, and those are the only items that may be used.

There will be a prize fund of 20% of the total wealth of all entrants, divided in among the first four competitors in the ratio 4:3:2:1.
