The wolf bit the dwarf in the arm. The dwarf responded by biting the wolf in the chest, bruising the lung. Knocking the wolf over, the dwarf clubbed the animal with repeatedly with the wooden sword, heavy bruises forming over its body. The wolf tried to stand avoid evade the pummeling, but each time it was bowled over by a charge from the dwarf. The heavy blows rained down, and the trauma bludgeoned the wolf into submission, giving into pain and soon dying.
Leon and the jaguar avoided each other's attacks, landing no more than glancing blows. Eventually the human got the upper hand, a plow to the leg opening up blood vessels and spraying the animal's blood everywhere. Charging forward, Leon knocked the beast over and plunged his spear into the unprotected belly of the jaguar. Wrenching it out violently, the jaguar struggled to its feet, only give into pain. Leon stabbed the beast repeatedly in the head, until the skull shattered under the blows.
The copper scimitar cut the jaguar deep, leaving deep cuts. Blood vessels were severed, and the crimson fluid spurted from the wounds. The slashes left the tissue in pieces, muscle and fat slashed apart. The jaguar could not stand much of this onslaught, and eventually gave into pain, before being felled by a swing to the head.
Fekod bashed the wolf with his shield, knocking it over. With this free right hand, the punched the animal in the paw, shattering the bone. With the heavy mace, he smashed the wolf in the stomach, knocking it into unconsciousness. A third blow then saw the mace driven through the skull, lodging in the wound and killing the beast.
Urist charged at the jaguar, and the two tangled together and fell down. Urist regained his feet first, but the jaguar bit him savagely in the hand, severing a finger. The human swung the copper pick in the other hand, glancing away with moderate scratches three times, before a devestating blow to the head killed the animal instantly.
Azurist fired a bolt at the wolf, tearing through the throat and opening major blood vessels. The wolf struggled forward, but the blood loss claimed it and it died at the dwarf's feet.
Matthias charged at the wolf, the ferocious attacks forcing it backwards as it was knocked about by the wooden axe. The deep bruises left violent trauma to the wolf's insides, impeding its functions. The wolf managed to bite a few times, but Matthias broke its grip each time. The human pummeled the animal further, leaving heacy bruises and beating it into submission, until a blow to the head jammed the skull through the brain and killed it.
The two wolves charged at each other, tangled together and fell over. The human stood above them and punched one of them in the gut, pummeling the animal and severly disrupting its insides. Retching and vomiting, the animal weakly struggled to its feet, as more blows landed on its torso, causing further trauma. Barely able to do anything but vomit, the animal was savaged by the other wolf, clamping its jaws around the paw. Shaking it around, the blood vessels were torn and the fluid gushed out, until eventually a heavy kick to the head killed it.
TOURNAMENT FIGHTS
Each fighter swong dozens of times, only for the other to avoid. Eventually the first blow of the fight was landed. Dakosh's hammer landed on the human's foot, shattering the bone and rendering the limb useless. Unable to stand, the Laurenski collapsed to the floor. The human's attacks became weak and unable to hit the dwarf as the disadvantage made itself effective. The dwarf, meanwhile, was unscathed, landing heavy blows on each of the human's limbs. The fight was decided by that point, though it lasted a long time, as the dwarf systematically broked every one of the human's bones, until eventually the trauma to the lungs caused the human to suffocate.
Urist took the first blood in the fight, stabbing his sword deep into the elf's arm. Violently twisting it out, Flint retaliated be slashing Urist in the arm, tearing apart muscle and artery. After a few more misses, Flint stabbed Urist agian, this time in the foot, tearing apart the muscle, but urist stabbed the elf in the other arm, the sword lodging deep and being twisted around. The circled each other for some time, each bleeding from their wounds, until Flint attacked again, savaging the dwarf's foot and rendering him unable to stand. The dwarf swung again, the sword lodging in the elf's arm again, the tissues and arteries being severed. Unable to stand, the dwarf still mounted an impressive defense, parrying or avoiding each of the elf's attacks, with the one that landed being deflected off the breastplate. Eventually the elf's attacks found their way around the dwarf's defenses, the cuts landing deep. Eventually the dwarf gave into the pain, and the elf shortly decapitated him.
(That was a great fight, it kept going back and forth and I and no idea who was going to win until the end)

The details of the new tournaments are now up. There are two matches coming up - a melee match and a tournament.
If you are interested in the melee match, then post. There are no requirements for the number of people, but the more people the better it will be and the better prizes there will be.
Since there are now sixteen gladiators, which is a very good number for tournaments, I will default to everybody being included in the next tournament. If you would not like to take part, then post and I will replace you with an NPC gladiator.
The melee match will take place on arena day seven. Each of the competitors will be placed in the arena at the same time, in a free-for-all. For every person that dies before you, you win ten Urists. If you personally deal the killing blow, then you win an extra twenty. Furthermore, there is a prize fund of 5% of the total wealth of all the competitors. The fighter who lasts longest gets 40% of the prize fund, the second person gets 30%, the third person gets 20% and the fourth person gets 10%.
The tournament will take place on arena days nine, ten and eleven. At the start of the tournament, each gladiator will be randomly paired up with another gladiator, forming eight teams of two. The fights on day ten will be knockout fights. Of the four teams that survive day ten, they will fight in both days eleven and twelve, in order to determine first, second, third and fourth place teams.
In each fight in the tournament, if you are on the winning team you win 5% of the total wealth of the four fighters. Furthermore, 10% of the total wealth of all the competitors will be added to the prize fund. If your team is ranked first, you wil 20% of the prize fund. If your team is ranked second, you win 15% of the prize fund. If your team is ranked third, you win 10% of the prize fund. If your team is ranked fourth, you win 5% of the prize fund.
