Suggestion: Down the line, it would be interesting if special tournaments were held. What I had in mind:

- Exclusive high-stakes tourneys for gladiators with a certain minimum win/loss ratio.
- Special terrain tournaments and arenas (e.g. contestants battling on a narrow catwalk above lava, in a room slowly filling with water. etc.)
- Team battles versus each other, or a "boss", with the prize divided only among the survivors/winning team(s).
- Massive free-for-alls.

- Team battles versus each other, or a "boss", with the prize divided only among the survivors/winning team(s).
- Massive free-for-alls.

The later tournaments and arena lord battles will have special circumstances. Not all of the details have been fleshed out, but current plans have the third arena lord fight forbidding metal items from being used, for example. The species will also vary. Of the nine unrevealed arena lords, there will be at least one kobold, at least one dark gnome, at least one elf, at least one werewolf, and at least one semi/megabeast.

The later tournaments will be more than simple knockouts, there will be special ones, but they have a lot more work to be done before they're presentable.

Nope. When you're in the tournament, the 'one fight per day' rule prevents you fighting multiple times.

I've had to make a change in the tournament plan. The previous plan was to have multiple tournaments running simultaneously, with different entry standards for the different tournaments. However, the number of players required to maintin such a set up is huge, so that has to be abandoned. Instead, the new tournament will be only one at a time. The type of the tournement will change, and signups will start as soon as the old one finishes.
