Leon and the wolf charged at each other. Leon continued powering forward, a heavy kick
meeting the wolf's head and shattering the skull. Somehow the wolf was not killed by
such a blow, and managed to struggle to its feel while enduring other blows. The spear
punctured though its chest multiple times, shredding its organs and splashing blood
over the floor, before it was pushed through the shattered skull, killing the beast.
Urist and the wolf circled each other for some time, each leaping away from the
attacks of the other, neither landing a blow. Eventually, Urist charged forward.
Knocking the wolf over, Urist jammed his sword deep into the wolf's insides, twisting
it round. Drawing it out, he slashed and swung, lacerating the wolf's limbs, tearing
muscle, nerve and fat, before finding its way to the beasts' chest again, where the
lung was torn apart. The wolf never landed a blow in return as its blood gushed out
and it bled to death.
Adil managed to land many blows on the wolf, leaving many bruises covering its body,
but only bruises. On one of his more vigorous charges, he and the wolf were tanged
together and tumbled over, but it was the wolf that managed to regain its footing. The
wolf pressed its advantage, its sharp teeth tearing into the dwarf. Adil broke broke
the grip each time it was applied, but not before losing a finger off the right hand.
The wolf moved its jaws to the dwarf's head as the dwarf lost consciousness, and Adil
was soon struck down.
Tersr's sword, though wielded with strength, had no blade. Tersr found it more
effective to treat it as a club than a sword, and swung it wildly, bludgeoning the
wolf. The wooden blade left many bruises, nothing more, but kept the wolf from landing
any blows until, with a mightly blow, the beast's skull was hammer through the brain,
killing it instantly.
Ibid avoided most of the wolf's attacks, with the few scratches that landed being
mostly mitigated by the leather armour. The wolf had no such protection, and the
scimitar cut it many times, and eventually tore open its chest, destroying a lung and
splashing blood everywhere. Lying helpless on the ground, the sword swung again,
severing one of the paws and crushing one of the eyes before the wolf expired.
Dakosh's fight against the wolf was short. The heavy hammer was swung and made heavy
contact with the wolf's head, shattered teeth flying away. The wolf gave into pain
shortly after, lying prone and motionless, while Dakosh lined up another mightly blow
to the head which dispatched it immediately.
Laurenski's fight was decided in a single charge. The human and he wolf met, and the
wolf was bowled over. The bronze mace came swinging down, landing on the back and
shattering the spine. It came up and down again, making devestating contact with the
head, slaying the wolf.
Despite not having a weapon, Jacque had no difficulty dispatching the wolf. Stout
dwarvern strength alone was enough, as a single punch to the wolf's chest shattered a
rib. Ignoring a nasty bite from the wolf, a second punch shattered the skull and a
third punch destroyed the brain, and with it the wolf.
Matthias's fight with the wolf was a savage one. Charging forward, with a mighty swing
of his axe, Matthias severed one of the wolf's legs with his first blow. Struggling to
its feet, it launched a hobbling attack, but Matthias neatly dodged and another axe
blow took out the beast's eye. Several more blows landed, but with no lasting damage
was dealt by the wooden axe. Another unsteady charge was launched by the wolf, and
both human and wolf went down. Even missing a leg, the wolf scrambled to its remaining
feet first, and struggled with Matthias for some time, many tooth marks appearing on
the human's body. The wolf managed to clamp its jaws on Matthias's hand, and shook
vigorously, mangling the limb, the axe clattering to the floor. Now weaponless, the
human had little defence as the beast's powerful jaws closed on him again and again,
until they clamped on his head, the human losing consciousness. The wolf tore into
him, shaking him about, and tearing the head to shreds.

We have eight entries to the novice's tournament. The order of the entries has been
randomized and is as such:

The first round will consist of 1V2, 3V4, etc, with the losers being knocked out of
the tournament. The second round will consist of the winner of 1V2 against the winner of 3V4 and the winner of 5V6 against the winner of 7V8. The winners in the second round will fight each other in round three for first and second place. The losers in the second round will fight each other in round three for third place.
Since we have eight entries, no more applicants will be accepted until the tournament finishes. Those who are in the tournament will not be able to enter any more fights while they are in the tournament, though they will be allowed to spend money.
