yea it is, elf is the lowest of the low, i'd say its rock bottom but elfs don't like the inside of the earth.
Wouldn't rock bottom be a compliment? Or would rock bottom be HFS?

hmm true rock bottom for a dwarf would be a compliment

oh can you build a support on top of a floor grate? on the magma mines topic i saw word of them breaking floor grates and gathering around floor grates for long amounts of time, if we can build a support on top of a floor grate we can make this work without any mechanisms!

nope cant do it just tested

300 human/elf/dwarf/goblin/kobold bodies 20 random animal/fish/bird bodies and 3 dragon bodies all in one backpack. fun stuff.

why not support the fall from the top or side rather than the bottom.  Then you can center it over a floor grate, statue, or other destroyer attraction.

Night creatures are the best defense. Just lock them in their rooms and wait. :D

Building Destroyer: Why, what a lovely work of carpentry! *shatters door*

Rakust: (’’’\ (*,:,*) /’’’)

i guess you could support em from above but that would be more annoying to do above ground.

You could have a statue as a bait, luring the building destroyer to walk over a trigger, which destroys the support overhead, dropping a floor on top of it. Takes just a bit longer to make.

What about:

  W W
s _  S C

Where the C is a cage trap? Then you can put the buggers on display as a pet instead of a corpse.

That didn't last long, huh? Shame, cause binary's cool. Anyway, an important message: I will be changing my names on every username based thing I use to ASCIt on/around 10/1. Consolidating, I guess you could say.

Put a masterwork statue or other piece of furniture (artifact for best results) and put 10 spikes in each of the 8 squares around it. Link them up and Pull the Lever/R.

Make the statue from magma-safe material.
Place Statue at the end of a 10 tile long, one tile wide corridor.
Build pressure plate in front of statue.
Once building destroyer steps on pressure plate release

This is a masterfully derailed thread. It depicts Necro in magma-silk thread. This relates to the great derailing of the Divorce Thread in 2011. Necro is holding up a pig-tail fiber sock. Necro is swimming. Necro is striking a defiant pose.
