Zachtronics Industries games(http://www.zachtronicsindustries.com/) are probably way too difficult for 1st graders, but should you have a young genius there, you can challenge him/her with one of these.
If a 1st grader can play those games, then I will welcome him as the future overlord of earth.

Anyway, you can find a bunch of puzzle games and stuff at kongregate.

Well, you can always use these to gauge the incidence of savantism among the populace.

Portal is free to download until the 29th.

:o I've wanted that for a while.

But I highly doubt a 1st Grader could play, from what I've seen. And it's also a download.

I think Gears of War would be pretty educational, don't you think?

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.

Oh yeah, definately. We can teach them to chainsaw the fuck out of aliens while scaring the shit out of them.

I just might have to make a PJ Sam thread tomorrow morning.
Too sleepy now though.

Oh god yes. I can hardly wait. Those games were incredibly awesome (or at least they seemed so through my nostalgia-coloured glasses).
