Well, once Rick gets back to his lab, he will most likely constantly be experimenting on everything he has collected, so that may help with devising a vaccine to the evil bio-crystal alien-god disease.

He ran back to the other side of the building and the still charging his energy sprinted as fast as he could towards the edge and flung himself off. In midair he swung himself around and aimed himself towards the beast. He continued to charge his energy, more than he had ever used before.

"LET'S SEE YOU GRIT THOSE TEEEEEEEEEETH!!" With all his might he swung his fist forward and released the stored energy impacting the creature square in it's face.

What the hell... That was a lot of posts for 7 hours. This thread is ridiculously awesome. I'll post more stuff in the morning. My character is heading to the elevator on the third floor, anyone want to meet him there? Turrets are blocking the elevator so I mean it would be a logical place to be.

Timeline-wise I'm sure that Kine can be in both places, but wasn't he at the dockyard?

The summoning area was the center of this corruption. Twenty scientists lay dead all around, but they weren't killed by gunfire or disease. Their necks were all snapped, neatly, by some sort of force beyond human strength. A strange circle of stones buzzed with green energy, showing an insane city filled with biomass and green energy. Creatures newer and crawled themselves on their already horribly mutated bodies. This was a land of sickness, and they had opened a portal into it and given it a body.

Tom looked away and searched for something, anything.

It wasn't a complaint about the description, just a joke. If you see something horrifying like the creature from the movie The Thing you assume that only fire can kill it. More of a text based joke, but google image search would disagree.
