No, I can't remember where I found this thread, because, for some reason, I never remember where I find stuff. Except MLP. I know I found this before it reached 100 pages. I only just worked up the courage to register, and I just now remembered how awkward I am at talking to people, and thats only made worse by the fact its 11:31 PM.

I only asked because it was a little suspicious that a newly registered individual was wanting to join only a few hours after we had a troll banned.
So, do you have a preference for what kind of pony you would like to claim. I mean it would be really awkward to introduce your character in the middle of Friesden's trial but we could go ahead and pick out a pony for you, if you would like.

Yeah, I know I picked an odd time to join. But, about the pony, I think I'll take the Female pegasus hauler, #32 on the list. Name her Starnight.

((I'm going to assume that Couth was either a good pony and waiting for his turn in prison, or was promptly located and tossed in there, since that was the original plan.  We should still have some time to sort that out by the time it matters.  And now on to more internal monologue from Falcata.))

Now that the fire is out, Falcata first ensures that Kris wasn't caught up in either the fire or the carnage of extinguishing it.  Fortunately she was a smart filly and stayed well clear of it all.  Falcata sends her home before the sentencing concludes, in the off chance that things did get violent then.

She wanders back to the courtroom and resumes her post in time to see Friesden and Khenal exchange potential farewells.  Having missed the entirety of the chaos Carrot brought about, she can only speculate what evidence had been brought forth that would convince Friesden that she was doomed.

She mentally shrugged.  It didn't matter, there wasn't anything she could think of that would have saved the mare anyway.  She felt pleasantly satisfied that Friesden would be getting what was coming to her.  Yet, the emotional pain plastered on Khenal's face was unsettling.  Whether Khenal really thought Friesden was innocent or not, he clearly felt for her, and losing a loved one was something she could relate to.

She blew out her breath and nervously tried to brush some of the soot from her fur.  At least it would fall to Captain Isos to actually dispense the punishment, whatever it was.

((Banishment seems most likely.  Considering we're in Diomedian infested jungle, it might as well be a death sentence.))

(I don't quite remember that. But if it was stated then I would say the worst they could do is to be banished from the fortress, into either the caverns (effective death sentence) or into the Failed Jungles (Also, a likely death sentence) likely with out any weapons, leaving them to fend for themselves. But I don't think that'll happen to Friesden at this point. Charity's seen demons in the fort before so it isn't a stretch for her to believe that Friesden could have been possessed when she killed efim, and Psycho living through death isn't exactly unheard of either, and neither is him going crazy so self defense seems almost probable.)

Nopony right out said there wasn't a death penalty, but Starkey said that we "don't butcher eachother and call it justice" way back when Friesden was going loopy in her cell after murdering Efim.  In context, he was telling Carrot to back off, so it's open to interpretation a bit.
