(The Master I would imagine your evidence for the efim murder will be primarily the means, which she could do, and the hairs/feathers found, along with the original diary. Then you should be able to make a convincing case for the Psycho murder as well.)

Cornbread hurries in to the courtroom, panting silently, sees the trial going on, and stands by the rest of the guards. Captain Otik gives here a look of disproval for being so late, and she bows her head a little in embaressment.

"As you wish, your Honor." Isos pulls out Friesden's diaries and shows it to the court.
"This is our first piece of evidence, your Honor."

"Objection!"

"I was not provided a copy of said evidence prior to the trial. I move to have it declared invalid and excluded from this trial."

(Pony justice as stated before does not follow the same rules as our modern justice system. In fact I feel that using terms such as you Honor, and prosecutor, and such are already a step more organized than I had imagined it being. So what I'm getting at, is that what I'm about to say is totally unfair and if you think I'm an asshole for doing so, you are probably right. Sorry.)

"Your objection is overruled. The book is relevant to this case and will be discussed."

"Then we move for the trial to be adjourned so we can prepare for this new evidence."

Cornbread blinks. The evidence presented in this trial seems to be vagualy familiar.

"Fine," Charity sighs, 'this isn't going to be as easy as I thought.' "We shall break for 2 hours, and that's all the time you're getting," Charity looks down at Isos, "Please share your evidence with the prisoner so she may prepare a defense."

(compound, that is fine. After the prosecutor makes his case I'm going to allow for anypony who wants to say anything, good, bad, evidence, character testimony, anything to get a chance to speak. I expect it to be chaotic and disorganized and that's just how I want it.)
