I peer through the door at all the pictures, then blush a bit in embarrassment.  Turning my attention back to Friesden, I see about returning at least some of the kisses.

'Where did I find the luck to be able to know you?'

Heh.  Sounds like a scene to me, unless there's something I'm forgetting?

And I'm curious, what would Keeper have done?  Or will you be saving that particular maybe-disaster for later?

As the Keeper entered Friesden's mind, Khenal could only wait anxiously.

Soon, however, a 'reply' came back. "Secure her limbs", it said. No more, no less.

Friesden woke. Her eyes looked straight at Khenal. Another message came. "Don't look into her eyes."

Assuming you looked...

Friesden's eyes stared mesmerizingly into Khenal's. But they were not peaceful. The eyes spoke of death. Rotting corpses, ponies dying, animals butchered. But they would not release Khenal's eyes, and he could only stare into them.

With a flash, his eyes closed and he felt himself moving away, without his control. His eyes opened, and he could move again.

"I told you not to look! She's a dead eyes, not an empty eyes as I had hoped. This is far worse. But I've found the problem."

The problem, of course, is a spoiler, and you're not going to get it yet.
