Carrot is now deep in the jungle. He's stopped crying and is now quietly mumbling as heads deeper and deeper into the mass of trees and vines.
"Who needs then anyway...nopony will remember me when i'm gone."

Charity looks over the scene in front of her, with the sickly Khenal and the lovey-dovey Friesden. And suddenly feels like she should leave. "Well uh, I'll be going now. Lots of paper work to do, you know, plus I got to tell Isos she's getting promoted." Charity turns to leave.

Ninja's everywhere!

"Leave? Why would he leave? He has no where to go? Wasn't he banished here? He can't go back to Tailentranced. Sure, I'll send out his squad to look for him."

"And yeah, you're going to need to move, This is the room of the Captain of the Guard. I'll have a new home dug out for you. Any preference for location? Somewhere near the dinning hall perhaps? Or near the Carpentry shops?"

Carrot finds a nice pile of leaves and rocks and lies down, shivering at the cold.

[Khenal]

"He, uh, has his reasons.  It's kinda personal why he wants to leave, and I don't think he's thinking clearly because of it.  As far as where to live goes, anywhere is fine.  I'd just like to request room for my books."

I shakily nuzzle Friesden.

"And for my love, if she doesn't mind?"

[Dsarker]

"Why would I mind, my beloved?"

"All right then. I'll have Cryptson Granite and Grifen get right to it. You'll have a few days to pack up, before Isos moves in here. But for now. I've got a lot of paper work to do, a search party to organize, and new diggings to authorize. So, I'll be going now I think." Charity turns to leave. Assuming she isn't stopped, she will go get the members of Psycho's squad and send them out to find him, and then go back to work.

[Khenal]

"I didn't want to ask without your say-so, my one and only."

I only barely register Charity's words and exit, lost in Friesden's eyes.

[Dsarker]

"You are my light and my salvation! My love, my life! Where you go, I will follow."

I just remembered he worships deities of love and charity.  No wonder he's so sappy
