I shakily get to my feet to try to go to Carrot, but fall over after a few steps.  Groaning in pain, I extend my hoof towards him.

"Please, Carrot.  I don't want to loose my friend..."

'YOU. WILL. NOT. STAY!!!' Psycho says, picking up the daemon.
'HEY, PUT ME DOWN!!!! I AM IN CONTROL!!!!' Howls the daemon, causing Psycho's body in the real world to convulse for a moment.
'NO! THIS TIME, YOUR LEAVING FOR GOOD!!!!' screams Psycho, hurling the daemon out of his mind.

"...Khenal...I did it....." Psycho says, before having his eyes roll back into his head. An unholy scream escapes Psycho's mouth, then a blood red smoke pours out him. The smoke begins to rush towards Khenal in desperate revenge.

The red smoke vanishes. Psycho Carrot lies still for what seemed like an eternity. Then, he slowly gets up.

I slowly lower my hooves; raising them all I could think to do when the red smoke sped towards me. 

'Well, one down?'

"Get..out of... Friesden..."

My horn barely flickers as a single chain descends from the ceiling between me and Friesden.  It slowly moves towards her to attempt binding the daemon.

"Stop...hurting her..."

You are so very naive, Khenal. Arming your watchmen with weapons that could kill ponies, never dreaming they could be used on them instead of to protect them, thinking daemons are pure evil, and now, to think I am hurting me. How very droll.
