Right into the middle of the bulk of the Glitterglen militia, returning to the barracks after... something.

they are irritated. They are tired. They are armed. And now two daemonically-possessed ponies are battling it out in the hallway and it's blocking them from their beds. you can guess what happens next.

The charging wall of pure steel, horseflesh, and anger screeches to a halt just outside the ring of fire. Godsdammit, now they're being denied a perfectly good fight as well? A few members of the aerial squadron raise up and try to take pot-shots over the tops of the flames.
