[Khenal]

I rise as Luna bids me, though I can't bring myself to look her in the eyes.  Friesden's praise of me does little to calm my fears around Luna.

"I'm, um, not so great..."

[Dsarker]

"Don't be silly, Khenal, of course you are!"

[Khenal]

I keep my gaze low, barely muttering my denials.

"I'm not great... realy, I'm not..."

[Dsarker]

"Yes, you really are!"

[Telgin]

Luna cocks her head at Khenal's expressions and words.  "All ponies make mistakes.  Nopony is perfect."  Her face grows serious as she continues, "Worry not about what is past, look to the future with a sincere heart at fixing your mistakes."  Her expression softens a bit.  "That is all that I ask of ponies.  Falcata did so, and I know you shall as well."

[Dsarker]

"Well, nopony is perfect but Khenal. He's the best pony ever!"

[Khenal]

I bow deeply to Luna again at her words, silently praying she's not just trying to ease a condemned pony's worries.

"I'll try, goddess."

[Dsarker]

"Oh. Um. Khenal...I should probably tell you...I asked Luna if Falcata could come back, and...And she said no, I couldn't give myself up for her, but that Falcata will be around and I'll be able to talk to her whenever she or I want to!"

[Khenal]

'Give herself up...?  Well, Luna isn't taking her at least...'

"Uhh, I thought you were done with... trying to die.  Um, I am glad that Falcata will be able to visit, though."

[Dsarker]

"I...I don't want to die. It's scary, and I don't want to leave you...But...But I can't just let somepony die or...or stay dead, not if I could prevent it! I'm sorry, Khenal, I'm sorry!"

Tears begin to form in Friesden's eyes, and she buries her face in Khenal's fur.

[Khenal]

I wrap a wing about my love and give her a loving nuzzle, briefly forgetting Luna and my past, caught up in the present and needing to help Friesden.

"It's alright, Friesden.  I know you just want to help.  It's one of the many, meny things I love about you,  my Only Light."

[Dsarker]

"I'm...I'm so thankful that you do love me, my love, my song, my everything. Without you..."

[Impending Doom]

Upon overhearing Friesden's retelling of Falcata's fate, Starkey approaches Luna.

"And... we will be able to see her as well?"

[Telgin]

Luna turns to face her faithful servant and his lover.  She gives him a warm smile and nods.  "Of course."  Falcata approaches too, and Luna looks to address her.  "Have you made your decision?  Is this what you wish?"

Falcata smiles at Starkey and Otik.  "Yes, Luna, this is what I wish."

[Dsarker]

Friesden makes a strangled noise, still wishing she could give up herself for her friend.
