Luna smiles at her, but doesn't respond immediately.  Instead, her horn is cloaked in a shimmering silver as she casts a spell, allowing those around her to witness her and the deceased with her.  "I am Luna, goddess of the night."

Friesden falls down into the bow, shocked by the presence of Luna into silence.

As Cryptson's vision begins to shift he sees Friesden her forelegs wrapped around 3 ponies, one of which was Falcata. He takes a step closer, "Fal..." he mummers before the dark Alicorn speaks and introduces herself as the goddesses Luna, in his shock and confusion of seeing Falcata again, he had not recognized the Princess of the Night, he immediately drops into a deep bow before her.

Recognizing the voice, Cryptson looks up from the floor and sees Couth Darkmane of all ponies standing there. He is filled with shock and rage at this ponies presence. "Darkmane! How dare you show your face around here again. I'll send you back to hell where you belong." He takes up his Adamantine Pick in his mouth and stands to his feet.

The smile on Luna's face persists as Cryptson notices her.  She lifts a hoof up.  "You may rise.  It is good to see you in person as well, my faithful servant."  With another small gesture to Friesden, she adds,  "As well as you, little one."

As Couth calls out to Cryptson and the stallion draws his pick, she raises a hoof to forestall him.  "Your anger is justified, but punishment for this stallion is mine to give."  She turns an icy glare to Couth.  "And do not taunt my faithful followers, lest I teach you a lesson you will never forget in all of eternity."

She returns her attention to Starkey.  "As I was saying, I have come with some news for you all."  She motions back to Falcata, who was sitting silently next to Luna, and says, "First, I would say that I have heard your pleas, and I have spared Falcata's soul.  She has done wrong in her life, but she and you have convinced me that her sins have not been too grave for forgiveness."

Falcata smiles toward Starkey, and gives him a small nod.

"Next... I wish to present my faithful servant with a gift..."  She motions to Starkey.  "Another chance at life."

Starkey swallows hard.

"T-That... is a most generous gift, milady... but what of my love, Otik? Is she to return with me as well?"

At Luna's words he lays the head of his pick on the ground, with the handle reaching upward leaning against his body. He would not defy his goddess's commands, but more than a small part of him wished that he could. Couth had tried to murder his beloved wife, and orchestrated the ritual sacrifice of other ponies, had Cryptson the power he would damn Couth to the deepest pits of Tartarus for all of time, for his actions.

Pushing the thoughts of vengeance from his mind, he instead looks at Falcata, she was even more beautiful than he remembered her being, he repressed the desire to bolt up and hug her, as he knew that would be most improper, and instead he just listens. Content with the knowledge that Luna had forgiven her.

Cryptson looks over to Starkey. Starkey was a good friend, and a very faithful pony, if any pony deserved resurrection, it would be him. But no small part of the earthpony Lord wished it could be Falcata instead. Though he dare not speak his thoughts on the matter.

Luna's smile fades slightly.  "I... am afraid I cannot do that."  She gestures in the air, leaving wispy images behind her hoof.  Six icons appear, symbolizing the Elements of Harmony.  "I can only restore those who bear an Element to life.  Those whose life exemplifies the qualities that make up the greatest virtues."  She motions to Starkey.  "Honesty."  Her hoof tracks to Falcata to her side.  "Loyalty."

"I can only return these two to life."  She lowers her head slightly.  "I am sorry."

Falcata's jaw goes slack at the goddess's words, but she holds in her thoughts.  She... could return to life?  With Starkey?  But... not Otik?  Or Estoc?

"S-She... she can't..."

Starkey steadies himself, and moves to Otik's side.

"T-Then I will not go. I am sorry milady, but that is too high a price."

Falcata watches as Starkey turns down the offer.  Sisters help her... she would do anything for him right now.  He'd probably been the one save her from an eternity of torment.  An idea comes to her... she fights it for a moment, but it grows inside as she sees the expressions on Otik and Starkey's faces.  They deserved life again.  Starkey might have saved her soul, but Otik was a wonderful pony too.  She deserved a second chance more than she did herself.  And if she couldn't return with Estoc, she would have to refuse Luna's offer too.

Finally, she musters a heroic amount of courage to speak up to the goddess before her.
  "L-Luna?"

The alicorn turns her attention to the mare.  "Yes?"

"Could Otik go in my place?  Could I give her my Loyalty?"

Couth was honestly hurt. four years devoted to her, serving her, running her every errand, and he's still on her hatelist. the poor misguided colt actually wanted an earnest answer, no one lays a hoof on the duchess but him. all this agonizing subservience will payoff though, just have to drag Falcata and her gang to hell, open the gates, and - What the buck did Falcata just vomit out of her mouth?

"Yes, listen to the mare!" Couth cried, flailing his hooves at Otik dramatically
