[Khenal]

Venture nods, trusting Friesden to know her symptoms.  After all, she's one of the senior medical staff.  Venture goes through the typical checkup procedure: tongue depressor to look at the throat, a little light spell to look in the ears and nostrils, listen at the chest for congestion.  So far, though, nothing is really standing out.

"Hmm, do you think you caught something?  Or maybe ate something that didn't agree with you?"

[Dsarker]

"Um...I don't know..."

[Khenal]

"Hmm...  Well, the only thing I can think to do is to do a magical scan of you.  Would that be alright?"

[Dsarker]

"Uhm, yes, that would be best, I think."

[Khenal]

Venture's horn glows as she begins to scan Friesden.  She comments aloud as she scans, giving Friesden a run down during the entire process.

"Temperature normal... hormones a little odd, but nothing serious... respiration normal... digestive tract normal... heartbeat... Huh?"

Venture's scan picks up a strange heartbeat pattern, like a small echo to her regular beat.  She follows the echoes down to her abdomen, then breaks the spell, shocked.

"Friesden!  You're pregnant!"

[Dsarker]

"What? I'm pregnant? Really?! This is the best! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!" She throws her forelegs around Venture in a hug, a huge smile on her face.

[Khenal]

Venture smiles with her friend, scarcely believing it herself.

"It looks like Triplets!  Friesden, it's so wonderful!  You're going to be a mother!"

[Dsarker]

Friesden's smile extends off her face, warping the very space around her head to allow her smile to be shown. The tips touch the walls on either side. Her hug is even tighter than before.

"TRIPLETS?" she yells in a voice happier than physically possible. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you! This is the best day ever ever ever!"

[Khenal]

**Meanwhile**

I pause in my spar with Lord Cryptson, signalling him to hold for a moment.  I raise a hoof to rub at my ear, as it just started ringing.  And it's not stopping.  I set down my spear to rub harder at my ear, looking to Cryptson.

"Do you hear something?"

[Dsarker]

Hitting him with the force of a Orbital Happiness Beam is Friesden, tackle-hugging him. "Khenal! Khenal! Khenal! I'm pregnant!"

[Khenal]

Friesden bowls me over, with us eventually coming to a stop with me on my back and her beaming down at me.

"What... Pregnant?  Really?!"

I smile wide at my wife and wrap her in my wings, nuzzling at her in happiness.

[Dsarker]

"Yes! Really! And Venture says..." She takes in a deep breath before continuing "IT'S GOING TO BE TRIPLETS!"

[DVNO]

"Catch, Luna? what's- *lowers his volume* pardon my diomidian, but what's this horseS%T!? can we stick to black and white here?" Couth inquired, slightly nervous of this wildcard.

[Impending Doom]

Starkey and Otik enter through the wall of the hospital, both appearing exhausted, but quite content.

"Ah... Hello Venture. Have you seen Friesden today?"

[Khenal]

Venture beams at the two spirits.

*Yes, I have!  She just ran off to find Khenal and give him the good news!  She's pregnant!  With triplets!*
