"Erm, Kil, I wouldn't do that if i were you..."

[The Master]

"Why not?! He's just sleeping! It's not like he..." Kil turns ghostly white as the blood drains away from her face.
"He's...He's...ohhh..." Kil collapses in a crying heap.
((FYI, clearly, i'm not dead, but my heart is not beating. Just making sure you know i'm not killing my own character))

[Khenal]

"Kil, he's still alive" or something similar? "but very weak.  He needs you to help him pull through.  I can't imagine how hard this must be for you, but you have to be strong for him.  I know he's fighting for you, make sure he knows you're waiting for him to come back to you."

[The Master]

Sobbing "But he's dead! He has no pulse...WHO DID THIS TO HIM?!"

[Khenal]

"DO NOT GIVE UP, KIL!  If his own wife abandons him, how can he hope to win this fight?!  I know it's confusing, but you must be strong for him!"

[The Master]

"YOUR NOT MAKING ANY SENSE! HE'S D-"
"stop yelling..." Psycho moans.
"BUT-BUT-" Kil faints.

Meanwhile in Psycho's mind...
"You cannot win! Khenal will save me!"
"HAH! You sound so confident considering that you haven't had control since you had the mishap with Friesden!"
"I WILL DEFEAT YOU!"
"TRY!"

[KingStrongbeard]

"I knew this would happen," mumbles Charity to herself. Before running over to the fainted unicorn and helping to move her to a hospital bed that she can rest in for a while.

[Khenal]

I walk over to Carrot.

"You can defeat it, Carrot.  I know you can!  Don't believe it's bluster and lies!"

[The Master]

"It's...too hard......help.......magic..." I weakly grunt.

[Khenal]

'I hope this works.'

My horn glows softly as I begin to channel energy into Carrot.  Bolstering memories are recalled for him, reminding him that he fights for more than just himself.  I extend a bit of magic to Carrot's consciousness as well, hoping to give him some extra force to push the daemon out.

'I may not be directly able to banish a daemon, but i can give Carrot a helping hoof to do it himself.'

[KingStrongbeard]

Charity walks up next to Khenal, and gently places a hoof on his shoulder. Her horn is also glowing. She may not know the spells to help Psycho, but she does know that magic is tiring, she passes some of her own energy to Khenal so he can channel it into Carrot.

[The Master]

"I TOLD YOU! I AM NOT ALONE! I HAVE FRIENDS AND ALLIES! NOW IT'S TIME TO DEFEAT YOU, ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!"
"NO! THIS ISN'T HAPPENING! I WILL NOT LOSE! I WiLL NoT Loosssssss I wwwwwwlll...lssssssssss.....I-I-I-I-I-I-"
The daemon's screams fade to gibberish, which in turn fades into silence. Psycho is free...for now.
"Guys...? I...umm...Thank you. Thank you, one and all..."

[Khenal]

I smile at Carrot, a little winded and sweating slightly.  I also smile at Charity, gratitude for her help plain on my face.

"Any time, Carrot.  After all, what are friends for?"

[The Master]

"I remember everything...plus some extra it seems. I appear to have couple of your memories, Khenal. I now know that you are capable of mind control, but you'd never use it to your own personal gain. Thank you...I mean it."
Psycho hugs Khenal and Charity, then smiles.

[Khenal]

I give Charity a confused look as we're hugged.

"I'm just glad you're alright."

I consider asking about his pulse, but decide against it.  'He's himself again, that's all that matters.  Even if he overestimates my magical abilities.  I'm no mental mage.  Not anymore.'
