After her discussion with the duchess the night before, Falcata's nerves had continuously been on edge.  The duchess was... so different than she expected in person.  She had never expected her to offer her and her daughter life pension for what she did... perhaps the rumors that circulated the fort about her were nothing but that.  The duchess didn't seem to be the sort of pony to hurt anypony...

Regardless, her nerves had her stomach unsettled pretty badly.  Nothing like butterflies to add to systemic necrosis... and the only thing for that was to see Dr. Bubbles in the hospital for another dose of his long term medication.  She wasn't in enough pain to use the pills he'd given her the day before.

She approaches the hospital door and slowly pushes it open, hoping to avoid waking any sleeping patients.  Khenal was probably still bedridden, and she didn't want to bother him.

"Oh... Carrot, hello."  She looks to Khenal.  "Hello Khenal.  I heard you might still be here.  I hope you're feeling better."  She notes the wisp of smoke and plays it off as a trick of her eyes.
