I kneel down to look my love in the eyes before nuzzling her.

"I'm so glad you're alright, Friesden."

[Dsarker]

A confused and bewildered look is in her eyes, and she tries to back away from Khenal, but the chains hold her sufficiently in place.

[Khenal]

"Friesden?  What's wrong?"

[Dsarker]

"I...I know you...I know you. Oh gods, oh gods! Get away! Get away from me!"

[Khenal]

Startled, I stumble backwards.

"What's wrong?"

[Dsarker]

"You...You know me! You KNOW me! How do you KNOW ME? I KNOW YOU! Get out of my HEAD! I can't TAKE IT! Kill ME or DESTROY me I care NOT leave ME!"

She descends into mad babbling.

[Khenal]

I stare at Friesden, stunned.

"F-Friesden?"

[Dsarker]

She coughs a bit, and a bit of phlegm hits the ground nearby.

[Khenal]

While I am still physically, mentally I am a blur.

'No!  She's supposed to be fine!  Amberley said she...'

My face shifts to an expression of pure rage.

"AMBERLEY!!"

[Dsarker]

Even as Khenal's face turns to rage, Friesden struggles against the chains once more. However, instead of moving back, she is trying desperately to go forward.


"Khenal!"

[Khenal]

Rage is instantly replaced by hope.

"Friesden?"

[KingStrongbeard]

Meanwhile, Duchess Charity is taking the zombiefied Psycho Carrot back to his final resting place as they reach the surface and are greeted with a gust of cold night air, Charity says, "I hope this works." as she makes her way into the tower.

[Dsarker]

"Khenal? It is you, it is you!"

The chains are starting to pull out of the walls.

[Khenal]

Heedless of the pain, I rush to Friesden.

[Dsarker]

Friesden grabs onto Khenal, and holds him tight.

"I...I didn't know if you were real or not. It...it kept pretending. Now I remember it.... But You're real. You're real. I know You are real!"
