[Khenal]

I summon Starkey's Honesty and prepare to strike the ground.  Apple is tricky, but there is no falsehood that can stand before Starkey's Honesty.

[The Master]

The Hydra slashes Khenal's left foreleg open.

[Khenal]

'Gah!  Only I could forget about a bucking hydra!'

I swing Honesty at the axe-mark with all the might I can manage.

[The Master]

((perfect cliff hanger, i'm too exhausted to continue...))

[The Master]

The axe embeds itself into the mark, and at the same time, the Hydra explodes into flames! When the smoke clears, Khenal can see Carrot and Apple glaring at each other where the Hydra used to be standing.

[Khenal]

I smile at Carrot before getting to my hooves, favoring my slashed foreleg.

[The Master]

'Long time no see, huh?' Asks Carrot, glancing over at Khenal before turning back to face Apple.

'Well, ya got me. The only question now is, what're you gonna do with a fellow like me?'

[Khenal]

I grin at Apple.

'I think you are a job for a professional.  Carrot, can you help Lilac get back to herself?  I think Apple needs to meet somepony.'

My horn glows as ethereal chains begin to wrap about Apple.

[The Master]

'Heh, very well.' Carrot disappears, replaced by Lilac. Khenal facehoofs.

[Khenal]

'That's...I don't even want to think about that right now.'

I continue binding Apple, preparing to bring him out of Lilac with me.

'Lilac?'

[The Master]

'What?! where's the monster?!'

[Khenal]

I heft the bundle of chains, double checking that it still contains Apple.

[The Master]

They do, and Apple sure isn't happy about that.

'KHENAL, YOU WILL RUE THE DAY YOU DESTROYED MY PLANS TO TAKE OVER THIS BODY! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!'

[Khenal]

'Your mistake was in attacking this little filly.'

I turn to Lilac.

'I'll be taking him with me now.  Thank you for fighting him, Lilac.'

I prepare to leave and drag Apple with me.

[The Master]

All at once, the area around Khenal twists and bends until everything fades out. Khenal wakes up inside his own mind, keeper staring down at him.
