"Captain, are you alright?"  She curses herself internally.  Of course he's not alright, he's bleeding...  She fidgets for a moment, trying to think of some way to assist.

Kris continues to keep her distance.  She really wished some of the grown ups would calm Lilac down...

Lilac's eyes roll back into her head. She makes choking sounds, then goes limp. Once again, the only evidence to suggest that she wasn't a corpse was her breathing.

Kris continues to hesitate and cower behind her mother until she sees and hears the electrical discharge.  Lilac's scream captures her attention, and she looks up to see the filly sobbing uncontrollably.  Despite everything inside her screaming for her to just let the grown-ups handle this, she wanders over, props up against the bed Lilac sits on, and places her hoof on Lilac's.  This worked for her mom...

"Lilac?  I'm here, it's going to be okay..."

Kris backs down and sits on the floor.  She was... surprised and frightened to hear Khenal say that.  Miss Otik said he would know what to do, and if he didn't did anypony?  She really wanted Lilac to be okay...
