The shard of glass flies perfectly through the air, landing deep in Starkey's flesh. Strangely, he feels happy instead of feeling pain.

Starkey pokes at the shard embedded in his chest.

"Wow, that's... deep. That's quite the arm, Lilac!"

"Stars? hun, yer bleeding."

"I am? Aw, not on my good shirt!"

He pulls out a cloth and tries to mop up as much blood as he can. Finding the glas shard in his way, he pulls it out, and promptly falls to the ground wailing in pain.

While Otik is lecturing Lilac, she hops down from the bed and starts to inspect Captain Starkey.  The wound was starting to bleed more...

Kris is now scrabbling away from the injured captain.
