'...Istlig?'

I open the door and step inside, a bit confused as to what's actually going on.  I slowly make my way towards the triptych.

"Istlig?  What's going on?"

[Dsarker]

"You can call me Amberley. We've burnt out the daemon."

[Impending Doom]

"Khenal? You're awake! Good to see you up and about again, lad."

[Khenal]

"Amberley?  Commander Starkey!  What do you mea- Friesden!"

I ignore Amberley and Starkey as I rush towards Friesden, concern for her plain on my face.

One of Friesden's legs turned into a tentacle and was chopped off, right?

((her real leg grew back when the daemon was banished.))

[Dsarker]

((We decided to have it grow back. I felt sorry for the poor filly.))

Friesden appears to be in a coma.

[Khenal]

After taking a few moments to make sure she's alright, I stand and look at Starkey and Amberley.

"...What's going on here?  The last thing I recall clearly before the hospital was the trial.  Why did Freisden...mutate?  Whatever that was?"

[Impending Doom]

"Uh, aye, you missed a lot while you were out. I suppose first:"

He gestures towards Vail with a hoof.

"Khenal, allow me to introduce Inquisitor Amberley Vail of Tailentranced."

[Khenal]

"Inquisitor?  Seriously?  I mean, it makes sense that one's here with all that's happened, but..."

[Dsarker]

"Of the Ordo Xenos in particular. Nevertheless. Your...fillyfriend here was possessed by a cunning daemon, one of Slaanesh. How long it had been in her, I cannot say."

[Khenal]

"I...don't think it was there when she was tried.  Where did you bind it?"

[Dsarker]

"I'm no radical, Khenal. I exorcised the daemon."

[Khenal]

My eyes go wide.

"You forced it out?  Without harming her?"

[Dsarker]

"She will not be permanently damaged."

[Khenal]

"Can...I check on her?"
