Physically, I lay in a hospital bed.  Mentallly, though?  I was nowhere near Glitterglen.  I twitch ocasionally, mumbling nonsense.

"Broken..."

[The Master]

Lilac reaches the hospital, ignoring Khenal, sees a scalpel and tries to grab it, but Otik snatches it away.

[Dsarker]

I walked in, Schmutz behind me, and as I did so, one of the ponies, Friesden as I was later to learn, woke up.

"I...finally...understand...my...father..." she said in short pants, and then fell asleep again. I turned to Khenal, and watched as he woke from what appeared to be the same nightwoman.

This was not the best sign I'd had.

[Khenal]

"Wrong..."

"Wrong!  No, what?!"

[Impending Doom]

"No. I won't let ye throw yerself away like that. Ye really are a foal if y'think dyin' is gonna make it all better."

((Okay, you guys need to slooow dooown. I had to totally rewrite my post three times, I got ninja'd by so much.))

[The Master]

"I WANT TO DIE!" Screams Lilac, trying to get the scalpel back from Otik.

[Dsarker]

I walked over to Friesden, and touched her lightly. She shivered at the touch, and woke.

"What happened?" I asked her. She reached up to me and wore a grin I recognised. The grin of somepony I'd hoped never to see again. Emeli Duboir. I slammed her down without thinking. This was very, very bad.

[Khenal]

I look around, wild-eyed and terrified.

"No, it's still broken!"

[Telgin]

Falcata looks around briefly, but there is no sign of Captain Starkey or the commissar.  She glanced at the pile of stones, which didn't seem to be going anywhere and decided that it would have to do.  She needed to find Captain Isos and explain that she wouldn't be showing up for guard duty.  She clenched her teeth as she started toward the captain's office again.  The way she felt, she wouldn't be showing up for duty for a week.

((You know, I sort of had a feeling you'd work Emeli into this somehow. ))

[Dsarker]

"Schmutz! This mare needs to be tied down. Something very, very bad, has happened."

[Impending Doom]

"What are you talking about? What's wrong with her?"

Otik discards the scalpel and siezes Lilac around the waist, dragging her away from any more sharp instruments.

[The Master]

Lilac bites Otik, trying to force her to let her go.
"SOMEPONY, KILL ME, PLEASE!!"

[Dsarker]

"We're not dealing purely with Khornate daemons and cultists. There's a fething pleasure-cult here, too."

[Khenal]

"Why are we conscious?!   We should not be conscious yet!"

My horn flickers and sparks, as a spell starts to form and constantly fails.

"Leave it alone!  No, let me do it!  Stop it!  We all know we should be unconscious, stop interfering!  You stop!  I don't trust you to do it right!"

[Impending Doom]

"Otik, get her out of here!"

She obliges, hoisting the flailing filly into the air and carrying her out the door.

"What have they done to her, Abel?"
