[Impending Doom]

there is a loud commotion from outside.

"What is the meaning of this? Who ordered you here, soldier?"

[Dsarker]

As the mare died, I grew calm, I guess you could say. It was peaceful, at least, with ponies trying to help her. But even then, I couldn't shake off the itching in my hoof. We'd missed something, and now somepony was dead.

"Damnation!" I yelled. It was an outburst that suited the Abel that people thought I was, still caring after somepony he hadn't known had died. Well, I didn't care so much about her as that now I knew there was somepony out there killing others, and I didn't want to become the next target.

[The Master]

Out of the corner of Abel's eye, he(?) sees something dart into another room of the house.

[Dsarker]

I heard another pony shouting outside, but before I had the chance to respond, I could see something moving inside the room. It was hard to see, but still there if you kept notice. I crept in slowly, crossbow at the ready.

[Impending Doom]

An armored pegasus stallion strides into the room.

"So you're the stallion who thought it'd be a good idea to drag six ponies off surface detail in the middle of a Diomedian-infested jungle? Tell me, what di- oh... oh sisters, is that... Kil?"

[Dsarker]

That same pony, almost as irritating as Mural, wandered into the room at that point. I gave up on my search for whatever the thing was, and turned to him.

"Yes." I said, a grim tone in my voice. "We have a murderer here."

[The Master]

Abel hears something knocked over in the kitchen.

[Dsarker]

"Guards, to me! The murderer might still be in here." I said, somehow managing to keep the trepidation I felt out of my voice. We headed slowly but steadily to the kitchen, weapons out.

[Impending Doom]

Starkey unsheathes his axe, falling in beside the stranger.

[The Master]

The group sees a pony in a full black cloak, with a knife dripping with blood in it's mouth. The pony simply stares at them from under it's dark hood.

[Impending Doom]

"One murderer: check."

A simple hoof-gesture, and every crossbow in the room is pointed at the hooded figure.

[Dsarker]

"Halt! In the name of the Princess you are bound by law! Stand down!"

[The Master]

The pony throws the knife at Abel, and it cuts him in the front right leg. It then makes choking sounds and collapses.

[Impending Doom]

Starkey barks an order, and a volley of bolts sail into the room.

[The Master]

All the arrows miss; but the collapsed pony doesn't appear to be breathing.
