[The Master]

'Possibly...' Says Carrot, sheepishly. The chains on Friesden turn to dust as well.

[Dsarker]

"Buckit you idiot!" Friesden says as she runs to tackle Khenal/Carrot in a hug. "I thought you were dead!"

"Guards, restrain the prisoner, if you would." orders Charity.

[The Master]

"Oh, I am! But what's the fun in staying that way?" Says Carrot/Khenal with a big smile.

[Khenal]

My horn flashes as a few chains of my own join Charity's in restraining Carrot.

'You are lucky you didn't hurt anypony.  You don't know how to do magic, so leave it alone!'

[Telgin]

Free of the blinding and suffocating fumes, Falcata hefts Tesla as far as she can.  She takes a final step away from the hospital and lowers him to the ground with what grace she can muster.

She leans against the wall and takes a number of deep breaths to clear her lungs.  She had no clue if Tesla was alright, but there was no time to waste, she had to tell everypony!  There was no sign of Darkmane, but with the smoke surrounding them he could be right next to her and she'd never see him.  She coughed again and trotted back toward the courtroom as fast as she could maintain.

((I'll leave it that way.  Now he can be a good pony and stay put, or do whatever he wants.  This could conceivably take as long as you guys want, so I'll defer Falcata bursting in and ruining the fun until you're ready))

[Dsarker]

The guardponies drag Friesden back and chain her down once more.

"This will be over soon, one way or t'other." Friesden says.

[The Master]

'Not this time, Khenal. I'm staying here until the trial is over, and that's final. Any objection, Keeper?'

[Dsarker]

"Oh, go ahead then. I have a bad feeling about this anyway."

[The Master]

((And now, I have to go for an hour or so. Dsarker, you have control of me as well. I EXPECT INSANITY, DON'T LET ME DOWN!))

[Impending Doom]

"Yes, well now that that's over with..."

"Yes, Miss Friesden, I suppose you could say I trusted my gut."

[Dsarker]

"And it served you well, didn't it? For it wasn't from Khenal that the orders came, but from some of his...." Friesden looks at Isos, "subordinates, wasn't it?"

[Khenal]

'I'm not kicking you out, Carrot.  I just don't want you to use my magic again.  I was serious when I said you were lucky you didn't hurt anypony.  I am glad you're back, sorry I'm being a bit grumpy.  I'm just a bit stressed with my love being on trial for two murders and all.'

[Impending Doom]

"The actual order came from Countess Charity, but some of Khenal's subordinates interpreted it rather... liberally, shall we say?"

[Dsarker]

"Indeed. Let's move on. So your gut is rather trustworthy, would you not say? Tell me, what does your gut say about Khenal now? About me? Am I safe? Is Khenal trustworthy enough?"

[Impending Doom]

*Sigh*

"My gut tells me that Khenal would not lie if somepony's life were at stake, and that you would never willfully harm somepony without due cause."
