After determining that the blade is in fact real, Starkey goes to report the incident to Miss Charity. More wierd sorcery can't be a good sign.

They were working on fixing Khenal's office up. Khenal said that a daemon had taken over Carrot's body. He banished it with magic and he passed out. I think there's still a little of the daemon inside Carrot, so we must get him to the hospital now! We can discuss this later!"
