The captain is busy sorting through the arms ledger in the armory, when a fine silver letter opener materializes inches from his nose, landing point-down in the desktop and neatly cleaving through the stack of papers he was reading.

My eyes don't open, but you can see a faint red glow coming from my eyelids, terrifying khenal as she realizes the threat.
"If one body tires, another shall take it's place."
A bright red mist flows out of the body and begins to drift in the direction of khenal.

My horn blazes white hot as the adamantine flies up, forming into a small sphere.  The red mist is drawn into it as the walls shake with unearthly screams.  They quiet as the mist drains into the sphere, eventually fading entirely once the mist is gone.

"Try not to exert yourself like that, Doctor.  Unfocused magic can be very dangerous.  And try to remember these events.  I will not"

I then pass out.

Left alone on the ground, the red glow continues to glow in the eyes of Psycho, but a lot less bright. What little of the demonic force controlling Psycho left hides away deep in his mind. I slowly get off the ground, wonder how I got here, and trot back to the barracks.
