"Yes, Captain, that door. You need to calm your head. Save it for the assassin or the Diomedians," the Duchess sighs, "now Captain, what did you want to discuss? You said something about Friesden?"

[The Master]

"Yeah...I think we all want Friesden dead at this point. Why not just kill her now then blame Khenal?"

[KingStrongbeard]

Charity looks flabbergasted. "Kill her and blame Khenal! Have you lost your mind?!"

[Khenal]

'CARROT!  STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING RIGHT THIS INSTANT!'

I lay down on top of the tower, preparing to enter my mindscape and stop Carrot from destroying my sanity.

[The Master]

'I can't! It's all falling over and smashing! OW, why DO you even have so many glass statues stacked on each other?!'

"Yes." Crest simply says.

[Khenal]

I appear in my mindscape, though I don't recognize it at first.  The order and logic of my deepest self has been completely turned on it's side.  In the center of it all is Carrot.

'Freeze this instant, Carrot!  Do not force me to oust you!  Do nothing unless I ask you to!'

My look of steel and ice is turned on my friend for the first time.  He may have seen it used on others, but this is the first time he's been unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end.

Khenal's just a bit upset with Carrot.  After all, he's doing a job that several daemons have tried and failed to do.

[The Master]

'Why're you looking at m-OOF! OH SISTERS, LOOK OUT! STONE WALL IS GOING TO CRUSH YOU, AND I CAN'T MOVE!'

[KingStrongbeard]

"Crest, I'm not going to execute Friesden before she and Khenal get a chance to make their case, to the entire town. From what I've been told so far, I don't expect much of a defense, however, outright killing her first is not our way." Charity pauses, "besides, it's only five more days, surely you can wait until then. She's chained up and can't hurt anypony, anymore."

[Khenal]

I keep my eyes on Carrot as I reach out a hoof and stop the wall.  With a push, it rights itself and returns to it's original position.

'Carrot, what you see is no simple landscape.  A mind is all symbolism and metaphors.  Any damage you do here is not simply to property, but to my very being!  Doing anything in a mind without the consent of the one who owns it can cause immense damage!

'And where the buck is Keeper?  I'd think he would have kept you from doing this much damage, or at least warned me of what was happening!'

[Dsarker]

"Mmmmmmmfffff!" comes the sound of Keeper's voice.

[The Master]

Carrot instinctively reaches for an apple and eats it. '...What? He wouldn't be quiet...'

[Khenal]

'OUT!'

Carrot feels an immense force on himself as I pour my magic into banishing him from me.

[The Master]

'Hey, I HAVE NOWHERE TO GO! IF YOU DON'T WANT ME BREAKING THINGS, THEN DON'T LEAVE THEM OUT IN THE OPEN! PLEASE RECONSIDER! YOU'RE MY ONLY FRIEND THAT WOULD STILL ACCEPT ME, EVEN AS A GHOST!' Yells Carrot.

[Dsarker]

"MMMMMMFFFFF MMMMMFFF MMMFF MMMMMFFF!"

[Khenal]

The force on Carrot adjusts to holding him instead of roughly kicking him out of my mind.  I fly over to him and look him in the eyes, deadly serious.

'If you cannot respect my memories and directions, I can't allow you to stay, Carrot!  Do you have any idea what could happen if I go mad?  I'd like you to stay, but not at the risk of that happening!  Will you stop destroying my mindscape?  Can you stop?'
