I rush to a window to look for the cause of the tremor, wincing as my ribs remind me of their current condition.

'Zebras can't do anything like that, can they?'

'Hmmm, yes. But only if they brought catapults...oh sisters...'

'...How would they bring a catapult through this jungle?'

I rush up to the top floor of the tower as fast as I can, hoping to confirm or deny the presence of any siege equipment.  Preferably the later.

Sadly, Khenal sees what appears to be thousands of Catapults, all lined up in a line, as far as the eye can see.

[Khenal]

Thousands of catapults?  Sounds like cliffhanger time to me.  This is definitely the time for the military ponies, and they aren't here.  Khenal would also be asking Keeper for a reality check at this point, but Dsarker isn't here either.  Where is everyone?

(The Master! Thousands of Catapults? I thought we agreed on a small ambush not a full fledged siege. Plus thousands against one pony town with a population of 109, made mostly of noncombatants and foals. There is no way. You better know what your doing.)

((I know exactly what i'm doing. I guess I'll just spoil this part, Khenal will find out that Carrot had a bit of fun with Khenal's head, and ended up snapping Khenal's sanity. There's not a single catapult. Also, this is perfect, because it's just me and Khenal at the moment, so no one can misinterpret!))

Please, The Master, tell me Kil is going to alright in, say, a week of in-story time. I've got an entirely unethical, though more sane, way of getting us all out of this mess. It involves Kil lying, Starkey telling only partial truth, and Khenal being willing to get Kil to lie.

Crest Fire headbutts poor Charity's office door down.

As the assassin has still not been caught Charity still keeps guards nearby. As the door flies off it's hinges Osal, her guard and a subordinate of Crest Fire, points his artifact bow at the opening, it is loaded with a steel bolt. "FREEZE!" he yells. Charity, jumps in surprise and grabs a letter opener with her magic to arm herself.

"Ahem...Bow down? Thank you...? Anyway...WHY CAN'T WE JUST KILL FRIESDEN NOW?!" Yells Crest.

[KingStrongbeard]

"Oh captain. My apologizes." Says Osal, he lowers his weapon and moves to pick up the door.

"Captain Crest Fire! Why did you knock my door down!" Shouts the Duchess as she get's back into her chair, and returns her letter opener to it's rightful place.

"What door?" Asks Crest, looking around for the door in question. Upon seeing it, he blushes vibrantly.
