((All sounds good to me.  Falcata would be asleep right now, which is just as well since I really need to be working on homework more than posting about ponies, heh.  I'll keep watching though and jump in if an opportunity strikes or if I get terminally bored here))

'KEEPER!!!!! WAKE UP!!!! I was just haunting the fortress a moment ago, when I saw Zebras charging in from the horizon! IF KHENAL DOESN'T WAKE UP, WE'RE BOTH DOOMED!' Screams Carrot inside Khenal's mind.

[Khenal]

*Groan*  'How can somepony so dead be so loud?'

[The Master]

((KINGSTRONGBEARD APPROVES OF THIS))
'Khenal, did you not hear me screaming?! THE ZEBRAS ARE COMING, AND THEY'RE NOT HAPPY!!!'

[Khenal]

I sit up in the hospital bed, still in pain from my ribs.

'...Why are they unhappy?  Besides, this is what we have the militia and skyguard for.  I'll go warn them if they haven't noticed yet, but I doubt anypony is going to trust me enough to give me a weapon.'

[The Master]

'I can get you a weapon. I'm a ghost, remember?' Khenal coughs out a green mist, wafting out of the hospital, to the barracks, and into a Pegasus wielding a crossbow and quiver. Khenal hears a shriek which quickly morphs into insane, hysterical, laughter. How Carrot hasn't changed...

[Khenal]

'...Just once, I'd like to be able to heal in peace.  Guess I'd better get on damage control.'

I get out of the bed and make my way towards the laughter.

Heh, Khenal continues to not be a morning pony.

[The Master]

The pegasus Carrot possessed is laughing manically; at first not seeing Khenal approach at all. Upon seeing Khenal, the pegasus smiles, takes off his quiver and crossbow, and drops it at Khenal's feet before collapsing unconscious. The poor soul breaths out a green mist which surrounds Khenal.

[Khenal]

"Carrot?  I have no idea how to use this.  Also, it's a bit suspicious if I take a weapon from an unconscious guard, don't you think?  Finally, I have two broken ribs!  I'm in no condition to actually fight!"

I shake my head before returning the crossbow and quiver to the guard and walking to the surface.  Once there, I start heading to the tower, looking for any martial ponies who may be on duty there.

'Oh, come on! It was funny!' Chuckles Carrot, safe inside Khenal's mind again.

[Khenal]

I grumble under my breath about nothing in particular, still looking for any of the militia or the skyguard.

'Where are these angry zebras supposed to be, anyway?'

[The Master]

'Oh! they should be at th-' Khenal losses his train of thought as he feels a tremor shake the entire fortress.
