Indeed. Originally, Friesden was supposed to follow the screaming and find them in the middle of a tickle fight. I just thought this would be more interesting, and I could draw it out more.

Oh man, Khenal would beat the crap out of the construct if he heard any of that.  As for why Khenal didn't wake up for the scream or Friesden leaving, I have an excuse for that.  The construct uses Khenal's energy to do it's job.  With it's increase in activity, especially the "direct control" part, it's draining Khenal's magic something fierce.
