((I was doing that anyway, sheesh. STOP NINJA'ING ME!))

"NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! KHENAL, YOU CAN'T DO THIS, THINK OF ALL THE FUN WE HAD! RAAAAAAH, I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!" Screams cockroach in agony.

The room shakes and one of the cells nearby explodes into flying sharps of materials. Part of the ceiling caves in and nearly hits Khenal in the head. Then the tremers subside and with a brilliant flash of light, Cockroach was nothing more than a silently screaming face in an adamantine earring.

[Khenal]

"Cockroach, in fealty to the God-Princess, our undying lady, and by the grace of the Canterlot Throne, in the name of Glitterglen and the Watch, I call thee diabolis, and in the testimony of thy crimes, I submit this carta. May principial justice account in all balance. The Princess protects."

Friesden comes to, and slowly gets up.

"Khenal? Khenal? Where are you, my love?"

[The Master]

((I'm working on getting the band to do a theme for Khenal, then Friesden, then, lastly Starkey.))

((NOW i'm going to bed, even song-writers/roleplayers/gamers/EVERY-OTHER-BLASTED-PROFESSION-THAT-I-HAVE need sleep.))

[Khenal]

I collapse after finishing the incantation for binding.

"I'm...over here...my light."

I struggle to regain my hooves, but don't quite manage it, falling to my side in my struggles.

"Captain...some help, please?"

Isos unlocks the doors, more out of habit than conscious thought.

*Bubbles feels a tingling at the back of his neck, and promptly says without thinking...*

"What....what happened? Why were we in cells? What happened, my love?"

[Khenal]

Isos shakes her head, recovering from the shock of what just happened.

"What happened?!  That's what I want to know, Khenal!"

"Well..."

I don't get a chance to explain before falling unconscious from the exertion of casting the binding.

Isos grumbles darkly as she leads Friesden from her cell and begins to try to get under Khenal to carry him.

"Well, are you going to help me?  He's not going to wake up for a while, I'd bet.  I'll escort you two home.  I want that book, and some answers!"

[Dsarker]

"No need. I'll take him."


Friesden gets under Khenal, and straining, lifts him up. She slowly starts the walk to their room.

[Khenal]

"Let me help you, he weighs a ton."

[Dsarker]

"Love," says Friesden, still straining, "makes the most heavy burdens as light as a feather."

[Khenal]

She shoulders her way in to help carry Khenal anyway.

"As he'd say, 'Friends can share the load.'  Heh, he always was a bit sappy.  And I'm escorting you home whether you like it or not.  I'm the Captain of the Guard.  Besides, I really do need to get that book he mentioned.  I'm starting to wonder just what has been dropped on me with this promotion."

[Dsarker]

"He's a dear soul." Friesden smiles in contentment.

"I don't know what book he meant, though. I'm sorry."
