Khenal begins to hallucinate, and he sees all the ponies he's killed in his lifetime, and it feels like that whenever he touches one, he gets weaker and weaker.

Khenal hasn't killed hardly anypony, actually.  The only deaths he really blames himself for are those from the Daemon Experiment, and he's dealt with that part of himself already.

Friesden hurries out, to find four guardsponies surrounding the body.

"What're ye doing here, lassy?" asks one of them in a gruff tone.

"Khenal was poisoned by this pony! I have to find the dagger so that the doctor can prepare an antidote," answers Friesden.

One of the unicorn guardsponies picks up the knife and hands it to Friesden gingerly.

"Mind if we come along? We've got to question all the witnesses. Including Khenal."

"Um...okay!"

Friesden leads the motley crew back to the hospital.

As Friesden passes the dagger over to the doctor, the guardsponies' leader snorts.

"Escape -where-, doctor? If he was trying to escape, why would he come to a hospital? Just do your job, and no funny business."
