I look down at the dagger caught in my peytrel.

"See, this is why I keep my armor on."

My horn flashes as I send a surge of telekinetic force straight into the lower mandible of Glacier, hoping to break his jaw and his grip.

[The Master]

"IT'S HAPPENING JUST LIKE THEY SAID IT WOULD! THEY SAY I WILL BE KILLED IN ANOTHER HIT!" Laughs Glacier manically.

[Dsarker]

Friesden drops to the ground, her wings over her eyes. She is shaking in fear.

[Khenal]

My face is cold and emotionless as I quickly pivot to buck my assailant.

"Fine.  Let's see if they are correct."

[The Master]

He dodges and stabs Khenal in the neck, then he instantly dies without reason.

[Dsarker]

((Preparation for if Friesden dies and both Khenal and Schmoe are unable to die.


He's an alicorn, who vowed to destroy all daemons and to save the one he loved. He's a daemon, lost and without purpose, seeking only to destroy and to die.

My barding deflects most of the blow, yet the knife manages to find a gap near the back of my neck.  The wound is shallow, but the extract may still finish the job anyway.  I stand, panting, as the adrenaline wears off and I can relax.  Opening my eyes, I notice Friesden's reaction to the fight.  Trembling, I extend a hoof towards her.

"Friesden?"

Still no medical training for Khenal; he doesn't realize how dangerous that extract might be.

[Dsarker]

Friesden opens her eyes and removes her wings.

"Khenal? Is it... Is it over?"

[The Master]

Khenal begins to feel extremely warm as his body begins to overheat. At the same time, he's finding it harder and harder to move.

"I hope so."

Sweat begins beading on my brow.

"Or maybe not.  I think that dagger was poisoned."

I try to continue towards the jail, but my movements are slow and uncoordinated.  I collapse just before the stairs, sweating as my body fights the extract.

The second stage of the poison begins to manifest itself, causing Khenal's body to suffer low level neurosis, or the slow, painful, decay of the nervous system.

Friesden darts in and picks up the immobile Khenal.

"Love, you're going to the hospital. No arguments now."

She carries him to the hospital.
