Friesden enjoys the gentle touch of her lover's lips, and returns it

"How are you feeling?"

[Dsarker]

"Better, now." She kisses him again. "How are you?"

[Khenal]

I close my eyes for her kiss, before opening them again and answer.

"Also better.  I was terrified I had...had..."

I close my eyes to fight the tears, before nuzzling Friesden.

[Dsarker]

"Shush...it's all going to be all right now. It's all going to be all right..."

((thetyler...you dropped out at the worst time! In a nutshell, Psycho went mad twice I think, we had three or so more daemon battles, Khenal fell in love with Friesden, Khenal wiped Friesden memory, then they kiss and now it's all lovey-dovey...Oh, and Psycho is now the current Psychopath, meaning Dsarker passed the reins of madness to me.))

[Khenal]

I bawl like a newborn foal in the embrace of the one I love, the embrace of the one I almost killed.  The dam is broken, my fears pouring out my eyes as I simply let it all flow.  Pain, guilt, sorrow, all flowing in my tears and sobs.

Friesden just holds Khenal tight, letting him cry on her shoulder.

((Kidding, It happens now! Here's a hint, remember that letter that Khenal was given?))
Khenal remembers that he still hasn't read the letter he was given yesterday.

[Khenal]

Eventually the tide recedes, leaving me exhausted, but a bit more clearheaded.  I stay in my love's embrace for a few minutes more, gathering strength from her warmth, before reluctantly taking a step back.

'I can't stay here all day, no matter how much I want to.  How much I really want to.  I need to give Charity my findings on the investigation, and ask her something as well.'

My motion causes the forgotten letter to crinkle in my armor, reminding me of it's presence.

((No, the letter was from a random pony that gave you the letter then ran off.))
The letter says, 'Khenal, you're in grave danger. Please, for your own safety, get to the top of the tower and meet me there.' you also notice that it's written in blood.

[Khenal]

"Be well, my Love."

I turn and leave, giving Friesden one last glance before exiting the hospital.

'Duty calls...'  My horn glows as I levitate out the note to read, my hooves beating a steady path towards Charity's chambers.

The contents of the letter quickly changes my destination.
